You're welcome.Thank you BeenBurned. I think that I've made up my mind on the birthday bag then.
There aren't any red flags but we request a posting format (see the first post of the thread) because it's helpful to see where the listing/pictures came from.View attachment 1516682

Hello. I am new to this forum, but wanted to get some advice on whether or not this purse is authentic. Thanks in advance for your responses.
Thanks. Please ask the seller for a picture of the imprint on the sole of the shoe as well as a picture of the size/style stamped information on the inside of the shoe under the (either) vamp or tongue. (Although the information is there, it's the pictures that show the information and font that's important.)
You're welcome.

Coach did a Retro line in Fall 2002 that used the Coach Leatherware stamp. I can't find this particular one but the style number seems to be 9353 and I don't see any problems with it.
Don't ever think something's fake because you haven't seen it before. And there were quite a few bags, especially Totes, that used that stamp. It was also used on one of their Legacy lines in 2003-04:

Comments: I just came across this bag. No creed picture. However, Just based on the one picture posted, the stitching and the Coach leatherware stamp on the front of the bag doesn't look right.
Thank you!

Just an update with the picture of the creed. Looks like the retro line from 2002 that Hyacinth told me about model 9353. Thank you Hyacinth and BB for your help![]()

Yes, it matches the time period, and the "individually burnished" creed description was used on some bags in Doe and other tan shades from around 2003 to maybe 2005. Coach had a specially finishing treatment they gave to some leathers to give them a vintage-looking patina.
Hyacinth, I don't see the photos .. did they come up or do I have to do anything to see the attachments?
