You're welcome! Sorry, I don't have a Madison hippie to compare it to. How do you find your short strap? Can you fit it over your shoulder comfortably? The small Parker hippie short strap does fit over the shoulder, but the drop is very short and right under your armpit, which is ok if that's what you're used to, but I like to have some clearance between my armpit and my bag. :D

I don't see any red flags, but would like to see additional pictures, especially closeups of the logo plaque and hangtags, hardware and rivets, inside of the bag, and a picture of the inside of the price tag showing the codes.

The seller has no selling history. If you decide to buy, fund your payment with a credit card through Paypal (and not a bank account or debit card) to be safe.

Although I can't read the creed, it appears to have TN-XXXX (9085?) as the serial number. If it has "TN" as the prefix, the bag is definitely fake.

In fact, she has already attempted to sell that bag at least three other times:

The Madison hippie short strap fits under my arm, but it pretty much is under my armpit- I don't think I would want it any closer. If I'm wearing it under my arm, I actually prefer it kind of snug to prevent stuff falling out or people reaching in. Usually I am a satchel person but I have found shoulder bags to be more practical at times, esp with kids. Another thing I like about the Madison is I can wear the short or long strap on my shoulder, the long is a more "hippie" look, and I can do a satchel-type carry with the short strap, I think it looks okay that way/ not too long. So I get different looks with it.
