hi everybody - can someone identify this style name and authenticate this coach? it's mine so no links. says made in usa, thx! bobbie

I hope this is the right place to ask this question.

I read somewhere that most fakes, if not all, tend to be sig bags. Very rarely, they make leather fakes. Is this true? I see lots of leather Coach bags I like on the bag, but I don't want to keep asking since it's a lot of work to authenticate them. So can I just assume that the leather ones are generally ok if the sellers include multiple pictures including the creed?

Both look okay but a legible picture of the creed for the first one would be helpful.

No it's not true. There are many fake leather bags, both new styles as well as older classic styles.

Just because sellers show lots of pictures including pictures of the creed means nothing. There are many fake listings where the sellers have lots of pictures. Sometimes they don't know the bag is fake. Other times, they are banking on the fact that buyers will assume it's authentic or else the seller wouldn't have included so many pictures.

I'm sure I speak for others when I say that we'd rather have you ask questions before bidding or buying than after the fact.

I purchased this bag today. I was told it was an authentic, older bag. I have never purchased a Coach bag before, and am not sure it is real. I can't find this exact bag online. The stitching and everything looks good but I would like your expert opinions.

Style: Willis? mini bag?

Bag measures approx: 7.5" wide x 2.75 deep" x 8 long"
Strap measures approx: 48" long

Very cute! It's the "Winnie" and yours is from 1997 and the color is British Tan.

I can't recall the names of all the Coach bags that have that wooden dowel across the top, like the Willis, but the "Winnie" is part of that "family".
