Welcome to tPF.

In the future, please post in the format requested in post #1.

I don't see any problems with the bag but other opinions are certainly welcome. My only issue is that the seller used a stock photo as the gallery picture. Stolen stock photos shouldn't be used.

But may I ask WHY would you leave such a comment in the feedback before verifying that your allegation is accurate?

What makes you think the bag is fake?

I took the bag to the Coach store and spoke to a young sales girl there and she said thought Fake. But after posting her feedback I felt I should look into it more and had regrets with the feedback posting and if it does look real would like to contact the seller to retract or correct feedback. I just found this forum today.

Please do a bit of reading here. There are dozens of posts where it's discussed that Coach employees are known for giving misinformation regarding authenticity.

It's considered routine for them to pronounce authentic items as fake if the customer tells them they purchased from ebay (or another online selling site). They dislike ebay and don't want their bags being bought for resale.

Another problem is that Coach employees are trained to sell the items that are in their stores currently. Most employees aren't familiar with styles and patterns that are no longer available and many employees aren't even old enough to remember some of the classic bags that customers might have.

Just because an employee, a "young girl" said she "thought it was fake" doesn't mean that she's correct.

NEVER, EVER leave that type of feedback before making sure that what you're alleging is true!

Comments: I was wondering if this was authentic as there are irregularities in the creed. Thanks!

Interesting.

I've seen creeds like that before, and I'm inclined to think that since they all have the same mistakes and what seems to be a legitimate outlet stamp, this was a run of bags from the early days of one of the new Chinese plants and the creed was formatted by someone who barely spoke or read English. I'm not 100 percent sure but my guess would be that the bags are genuine, they may have either been made for the outlets or sent to the FS's because of the screwed-up creeds. If anyone has a leather Girlie with the same mistakes that was absolutely positively bought at a Coach store, I hope they'll chime in.

Here are a few other photos I've saved:

dspencer - The bag is authentic. Coach employees are NOT authorized to authenticate in store. Sadly, we've seen this kind of wrong information given out by misinformed SAs all too often. As BeenBurned said, never leave feedback alleging that something is fake without being absolutely sure. May I ask why you didn't contact the seller first with your concerns before leaving feedback?

As NSP suggested, you should call ebay and see if they can remove the comment. At the very least, you should post a follow-up comment to your feedback to say that the bag is actually authentic.

Please help; i dont know if this bag is authentic? Anyone knows please help:yahoo:

Hi Jean, welcome to tPF. In the future, please post in the format requested here: http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-577470.html

Are you the winning bidder? Other opinions are welcome. On this bag, I don't see any obvious problems but I don't recommend missnumj2009, the seller who sold this item. Although the seller recommends authenticating on tPF, she sold a fake LV. (I'm not good at recognizing fake LVs unless they are BAD!! This is really bad.)

http://cgi.ebay.com/Louis-Vuitton-M...326?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item4155d7f7fe

And this seller knows which items are authentic and which are fake. For the authentic items, she refers her buyers to come here for authenticity checks. For the fake LV, she didn't make that referral.

Again, I don't recommend buyers do business with missnumj2009.

Hi folks, appreciate the wonderful service you're providing here.

Comments: Just bought this bag, and wanted to see if there was any way to confirm that it's authentic. Thank you all very much!
There should be a better picture of the creed for this listing but I do NOT recommend seller dooney2006.

If you are the winning bidder, you paid more for that bag than you would have if the seller hadn't used a shill bidder to drive up the prices on her listings. Grrrr!

Edited to add: This seller only used one shiller in this listing but other previous listings have at least one other shill bidder.

Edited again: Ugh! The carp gets deeper. Not only does dooney2006 shill bid, but she also sells fakes:
