Are you the winning bidder? Other opinions are welcome. On this bag, I don't see any obvious problems but I don't recommend missnumj2009, the seller who sold this item. Although the seller recommends authenticating on tPF, she sold a fake LV. (I'm not good at recognizing fake LVs unless they are BAD!! This is really bad.)

And this seller knows which items are authentic and which are fake. For the authentic items, she refers her buyers to come here for authenticity checks. For the fake LV, she didn't make that referral.

Again, I don't recommend buyers do business with missnumj2009.

I've seen creeds like that before, and I'm inclined to think that since they all have the same mistakes and what seems to be a legitimate outlet stamp, this was a run of bags from the early days of one of the new Chinese plants and the creed was formatted by someone who barely spoke or read English. I'm not 100 percent sure but my guess would be that the bags are genuine, they may have either been made for the outlets or sent to the FS's because of the screwed-up creeds. If anyone has a leather Girlie with the same mistakes that was absolutely positively bought at a Coach store, I hope they'll chime in.

I also had concerns over the stock photo, the seams on the stock photo around the bottom of the bag are different then this bag. The stock photo seams come up the sides about an inch. This bag doesn't. Also where the handles attach on the bag, the stock photo has 2 silver studs and this bag has one. I didnt notice until after I received the bag. Do they make some of them different depending on when they were made? I am sorry this is my first coach and I saw the bag on Ebay and fell in love. Also the lining is Gray. I just didnt want to be the one bag thinking its real and find out later it was not.If in fact the bag is real I will correct the feedback which is also why I left a + instead of neg. Thank you

Pattern placement will differ from bag to bag. It would be economically impossible for a company to waste so much fabric in order to have the pattern in the exact same location on every bag they make.

Thus, the placement of the pattern depends on the placement of where they cut the piece from the huge bolts of fabric.

Note also that there will sometimes be a variation between the stock photo and the actual item. Coach (as well as other manufacturers) does this for a couple of reasons.
1. In order to confound counterfeiters, they might post a photo with different hardware, different thread color or other minor differences. That way, when the fakers copy it and it matches the "wrong" stock photo, it's a red flag.
2. Another reason why stock photos sometimes differ from the actual item is that they'll use a prototype as a stock photo but make additional changes once they decide to put the item into production.

This is another good reason why sellers shouldn't use stock photos and buyers should demand to see pictures of the actual item they are buying.

Again, please go in and try to revise your feedback comment. And in the future, please don't jump to rash conclusions before you know what you're talking about.

Sorry to be harsh but we see these types of feedbacks and/or "fake" accusations and those comments do huge damage to the reputations of sellers.

Stock photos should never be used to make a determination of authenticity. Stock photos are prototype pictures and may have some details that differ from the actual production version of the items.

Here is another listing for an authentic Op Art Large Sabrina 13862:

You'll see that it doesn't look exactly like the stock photo either. There is one rivet on the ring tab. This is an example of a detail that differs from the stock photo image.

Thanks again for all the info and it makes me feel better. It is really hard to purchase a bag on ebay. Also I emailed the seller and she totally understood and wasn't upset about the feedback and she will send me a revision request. She even offered to take the bag back if I didn't want it. But I am going to keep it and change her feedback. Wish all ebay sellers were like her. Thanks again for the info on bag differences, it really makes it difficult to know what is real and not real. Double hard if you are not able to see the bag at a store first to see what to expect.

I don't see any problems with the bag but other opinions are certainly welcome. My only issue is that the seller used a stock photo as the gallery picture. Stolen stock photos shouldn't be used.

But may I ask WHY would you leave such a comment in the feedback before verifying that your allegation is accurate?

Dspencer, after your purchase of this Sabrina bag (on Dec. 15), did your purchase of a very similar bag for $25 less (on December 25) have anything to do with the buyer's remorse you might have felt?

Did you think that accusing the seller of sending a fake would make her more apt to offer a refund?

Please request a photo of the creed and of the clip that attaches the strap to the bag. That's a highly faked style and there are some "good" fakes.

All genuine - 1995, 2000, and 1997. There are posts in the Answers To Authenticity Questions thread that explain where to find the code for the year a bag was made, as long as it's genuine and from 1994 or later:

My goodness! You can tell those other two are fakes b/c of CC pattern on inside and outside, right?

I just bought it yesterday (and paid), but haven't received it yet. Anything I can do to stop payment/cancel this?
