I'm sorry but you got a bad fake.

Can you get your money back?

Stupid me hit BIN on Ebay last night without making sure this was authentic.
Item: Coach Poppy Black Patent Leather Skinni Mini ID Holder
Listing number: 140495078158
Seller: yukonokla
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...ewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_859wt_907
Comments: I'm pretty sure this is real, I've barely seen these on Ebay, but I wanna make sure!
The seller has enough experience to know better than to use stolen stock pictures in some of his/her listings. (The gallery photo is stolen from Coach's website.)

It looks okay as do the seller's other items but I don't recommend sellers who use other people's copyrighted pictures. This seller has a camera and is able to take his own pictures in some listings so there's no reason why all the listings can't be his own work.

Oh I know the first is stolen from coach.com, but they also had 2 pictures they took themselves. I've noticed that many sellers have been using a stock photo as the main photo, and then pictures they took themselves (not just Coach, but other brands) Thanks!

Just because a lot of sellers do it doesn't make it right. And yukonokla is a "top rated seller" who supposedly earned that title based partly on integrity. I don't consider it moral, ethical or honest for a seller who owns a camera, knows how to use it and does use it for some listings not to do his own work on every listing.

There are plenty of other top rated sellers who do do their own work and that's who I'd prefer to give my hard-earned money to.

In this listing, pictures #1 and #3 are stock photos and the second picture appears to be stolen also. So for this highly faked bag, buyers have no idea what the seller is selling and what they will receive.

And this is another listing where the seller uses ONLY stock photos without any actual pictures of the item:

Yeah right. :nogood:

Well, I'm reselling it for maybe five dollars off the price I got it from, I told the girl it's a fake. ><
Can you guys tell me why it's fake/ reasons it's fake so I can get some help for the future... Ty!

I don't know where you plan to resell it but you cannot legally do that. It's illegal for anyone to sell counterfeit goods. That includes yard sales, consignment stores, thrift shops, ebay and other auction sites, and anywhere else.

Better than ripping off another person (as your seller did to you), you should take the bag back to the person you bought it from and demand your money back.

As for reasons why it's fake, there's Hyacinth commented on some of the problems here: http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-577470-685.html#post17632657

Although this post is long and there is some misinformation, especially in the older section, there's a wealth of educational material to help you avoid making the same mistake again: http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/answers-to-authenticity-questions-94198.html

Whatever you do, do not sell that bag.
