It looks good to me! Style 7789 is the "Hamptons Leather Small Hobo" and that was made in 2001.

There's no way to tell if that's an authentic bag. The 2 pictures are blurry, improperly exposed and don't show nearly enough details to determine authenticity.Item: Says coach patent sabrina but says style #12973

It looks good to me, but I've never bought a bag off a seller before and I wanted to be sure. Thanks so much!

Comments: I have been desperately searching for this style in the brown for so long - but this item was pinging my "too good to be true" meter.
So I sent the seller this message:
What is the style number of this lovely bag? Do all the suede patches on both sides need cleaning? Also, since I don't have one of this material, is the orange C's section across the top (by the zipper) showing dirt/stain, or is the material tie-dyed that way? Thanks!
(Maybe tie-dyed wasn't the greatest term to use, but I couldn't think of any other way to describe that section - it's looks like it was manufactured smeared or blurry or splotched or something! I was mainly concerned there was no staining there because it would be a b***h to get clean in that area. Also, those sections are leaning toward orange-ish on my monitor.
And here is her answer - it this hostile or is it just me?
"The style numbr is 10809. Both suede patches on either side need cleaning. I don't see anything ORANCE on this purse, but none of the brown or tan Cs at the top of the bag are dirty or stained. I don't understnd the question re: tie dye? This is an authentic patchwork Coach bag that feaures patches from several style COACH bags, including signature, optic, scribble, animal print, canvas, smooth leather, and suede leather. I hope that helps"
Anyway, she's posted many pictures in the listing, but none of the creed. Can any of you auth it without a pic of the creed? The way the seller responded, I don't know how she would react to a picture request. This is a tremendous bargain if it's authentic. That combo would normally start at almost twice this seller's BIN price, so if it's real, I'm jumping on it!
Thanks in advance!
I would like to see a photo of the creed but so far, it looks okay.
The patches you are referring to as "tie dye" and appearing to be dirty are actually called tie dye by Coach. And the nature of that pattern does make it appear slightly dirty.

I'd love this bag for my vacation to Hawaii, but there are a few things that are ringing my warning bells. The seller seems to have sold a few of this exact bag recently, but all have been in used condition with pictures highlighting the wear. I have asked for additional pictures of the bag (ie. a front picture of the actual bag being auctioned). I know there a few decent fakes of this style kicking around out there...
Yikes! Thanks so much Starry, much appreciated! I will definitely be steering clear of zjpatrick0.
