As far as the questioned white bag...I'm not sure of authenticity based on only 2 pictures that aren't much help...but it looks like the "Casino Bag". If her information is correct, it's from 1996.

If you are interested in the bag, I would definitely ask for a picture of the creed AND I would also ask if anything has been "done" to the bag to make it so very white...like dyes or, heaven forbid, shoe polish. I would also like to see the strap.

:smile1:

Please wait for other opinions for the first one.

As for the second listing, this seller has sold enough Coach to know that there should be a picture of the creed shown. There should also be a picture of the inside of the bag.

i agree with both of you.besides, the white bag really attract my attention because it looks so cute :p but not tempted enough to buy it.i just never seen it before.thank you so much.i still need your help in future because i am hunting a kristin leather hobo :D thanks again!

Comments: I'm still new at this but it is an obvious fake, yes? A signature bag won't have signature lining. The creed is a mess with its terrible spacing and misspellings, and the flat top on the A. The metal ring on the side is not all one continuous ring, it has a break. Am I missing anything? Maybe this should go on the "horrible fakes" thread instead? Can we report this and get it removed?

It's definitely fake, for all the reasons you gave, and for several more that we won't mention. Feel free to add it to the Ugliest fakes thread.

You are correct. The listing from eves-treasurebox is a terrible fake for all the reasons you mentioned. Report away!

Comments: After your responses yesterday I sent a message to the seller requesting actual photos and specifically a picture of the creed. The seller posted what appears to be actual photos, 11 of them actually. Suppose they are stolen too? Is it a deal breaker if they make auctions private?

Comments: This seller was on the "good" ebayer list on the forum. Is this a better option? I wrote the seller and requested a picture of the creed.

1. The new pictures posted by some-for-some look good as far as authenticity but frankly, when at all possible, I prefer listings where the bidding isn't private.

With private listings, there's no way to look at bidding patterns or to see previous items sold (in feedback). If it's not a seller with a proven history of being a trusted seller, I like to be able to dig into the history and check out the seller.

With that said, I understand that this seller's item is among the lowest price fixed price listings so if you do choose to purchase, I'd suggest you use your credit card to fund the purchase and post pictures here once you receive it.

2. That seller has a long enough history to know that more definitive pictures are necessary to prove authenticity.

I think this bag may be too good to be true. It's listed for $138...and has blue interior lining. The other bags I've seen have brown interior lining.

Also, the seller doesn't have a pic of the Coach creed.

SO....do you all think this is a fake, or a really good deal?

I think this is the same seller (on eBay...since it has the same pics and price.)

I guess, in theory, its quite possible that this bag has been at the Coach outlet center...but I guess I'm a bit wary since it still seems like such a low price on this bag.

The lining color is correct for that bag and the pictures in THAT listing look okay.

However, marcoslana (on Bonz) and marcoslana (on ebay) have many other listings that don't show her own pictures of the actual items. Many listings only use stock photos that were stolen from the Coach website.

If the pictures in the listing for the scarf print bag are her own, then there's no reason why she shouldn't be taking her own pictures in every listing.

Personally, I can't feel comfortable recommending this seller because even the listings that use non-stock photos have so many different backgrounds and photographing styles that I'm not sure they are her own either.
