Comments: I've purchased all my coach bags on eBay, (only from power sellers.) This seller has no feedback, and no other listings, I had to ask for real pictures (she only had the instock one listed), and I've talked them into a price for about half of what it is worth, all of the above kind of scare me. - Should I ask for even more pictures? Or is it legit? Thanks!

Generally, a newbie seller shouldn't cause you to hit the "back" button, but in this case, you have a seller with no history, a completed listing that only showed one stock photo stolen from Coach's website, and both current and completed listings (for same item) have practically no description.

The pictures that the seller added are blurry, dark and don't show enough detail. We need to see clear pictures of the front, back, lining, hardware, straps, stitching, etc. (The creed photo looks okay but the other pictures aren't good.)

The description needs measurements, info regarding style, color, strap drop length, interior construction, pockets, etc.

Personally, in this case, I wouldn't buy from a seller who puts so little effort into the listing. Granted, preparing good listings takes practice but it doesn't seem that the seller tried too hard.

There's one current listing for this same color and style bag that has great pictures. Although it's more expensive than this listing, the description and pictures let you see exactly what you'll be getting.

You say you've purchased all your Coach bags from powersellers. Buying from powersellers doesn't guarantee that you'll receive an authentic bag. Although most PS are probably honest, there are also many who wouldn't know an authentic Coach if it bit them. Yet they sell enough that they "earn" the PS and TRS badge.

I asked for more specific pictures, and she only took about half. These are still poor quality and hard to tell. Any help?

It looks ok from the pictures. If you decide to purchase, please fund your Paypal payment with a credit card to be safe.

Listing number: 270682717925
Seller:some-for-some
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/Coach-Alexandra...925?pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item3f05f27ee5

Is this a bag that is know for fakes? If so, what should I look for after I purchase one. Thanks in advance!!

There's no way to authenticate the bag in this listing because there are no actual pictures of the bag, only a stock photo stolen from the Coach website. I wouldn't buy from a seller who doesn't use her own pictures. There's no telling what you'll end up getting.

There are a couple blurry cell phone pics along with the stock pictures. Thanks for your help.

The seller must have just added the pictures because there was only the one stock photo when I looked at it before.

The second picture in some-for-some's listing:

is stolen from this seller:

As I mentioned before, I don't recommend doing business with a seller who steals other people's work. Who knows whether the other pictures in the listing are even the seller's own pictures.

Comments: Can you please confirm if this is an authentic Coach bag. I have not had much luck finding the bag on the Internet and it was the only one I saw on eBay.

Thank you for your help.

Are you the winner? If so, congrats! The winner got it for a great price. The seller had previously tried to sell it several times for a higher price without any buyers. This is the Ostrich Lily, a very rare bag, which retailed for over $5000 including tax.

Did you ask the seller for a picture of the creed? She says in the listing that she can email a picture of the creed. If you received the picture, please post it here.

Yes - I am the winning bidder and have not received the handbag yet. I will post pictures after I receive it.
I did not request she send a picture of the creed. I just went on the pictures shown in the listing and thought it looked authentic based on my limited knowledge.
Well, I am excited and appreciate your help!!! :D

Congrats! Can't wait to see the pics! :smile1:
