I was also wondering if anyone can tell if this is the regular or large size? Seller said it measures approximately 13 inches wide by 9 inches tall.

There aren't enough pictures in the listing but I don't see any red flags.

If you're interested in bidding, please request pictures of the back of the bag, the inside lining, creed, hardware, strap stitching.

In case you're concerned with the pattern not matching at the bottom of the bag, that's something that happens as a result of the curvature and shape of the hobo. A certain amount of non-match is inevitable.

These are the only pics I have. It is actually a friend's bag, and I have other friends who are "suspicious" of this. I don't know near enough to even give a guess. I wish I had a pic of the creed...but thought I would give it a shot if anybody could say based on just these pics alone.

Thanks - that was definitely what we already thought. Now I don't know if somebody should tell her...or it is also possible that she knows and is purposely passing it off as real. Not sure. Either way, glad to have the mystery solved.

Guess it depends on how good or what type of friends you are in what or if you tell her. You had good reason to doubt it's authenticity!

If your "friend" wants to sell you that, she's not a good friend.

EDITED: I misunderstood your question. If your friend purchased that bag thinking it's authentic, she probably paid decent money for it. I'd want to know if I got ripped off so I could get a refund.

Generally, a newbie seller shouldn't cause you to hit the "back" button, but in this case, you have a seller with no history, a completed listing that only showed one stock photo stolen from Coach's website, and both current and completed listings (for same item) have practically no description.

The pictures that the seller added are blurry, dark and don't show enough detail. We need to see clear pictures of the front, back, lining, hardware, straps, stitching, etc. (The creed photo looks okay but the other pictures aren't good.)

The description needs measurements, info regarding style, color, strap drop length, interior construction, pockets, etc.

Personally, in this case, I wouldn't buy from a seller who puts so little effort into the listing. Granted, preparing good listings takes practice but it doesn't seem that the seller tried too hard.

There's one current listing for this same color and style bag that has great pictures. Although it's more expensive than this listing, the description and pictures let you see exactly what you'll be getting.

You say you've purchased all your Coach bags from powersellers. Buying from powersellers doesn't guarantee that you'll receive an authentic bag. Although most PS are probably honest, there are also many who wouldn't know an authentic Coach if it bit them. Yet they sell enough that they "earn" the PS and TRS badge.

While we appreciate your wanting to report fakes, a bag isn't fake just because you've never seen the style or because you think it's ugly....or whatever other reason you might think it's fake.

I'm no expert on the recent outlet bags but there are dozens of the same style listed on Ebay, which usually means they've been at the outlets within the last month.

Why do you think it's fake?

I've seen a bunch of those at the outlet just last Sunday. Since I bought a fake on eBay 2 wks ago, I went to the outlet and bought real ones instead. BTW, I spent $326.xx and I bought THREE leather bags that day. And I got my refund from the seller finally. Just lost out on $12.xx the SH back to seller. I learned my lesson.

As for the second listing, this seller has sold enough Coach to know that there should be a picture of the creed shown. There should also be a picture of the inside of the bag.

As far as the questioned white bag...I'm not sure of authenticity based on only 2 pictures that aren't much help...but it looks like the "Casino Bag". If her information is correct, it's from 1996.

If you are interested in the bag, I would definitely ask for a picture of the creed AND I would also ask if anything has been "done" to the bag to make it so very white...like dyes or, heaven forbid, shoe polish. I would also like to see the strap.
