This question has come up a lot here, with people asking if the lining was "restitched" when they see this type of stitching on the lining. The lining isn't "restitched" but Coach does stitch the linings on certain bags and accessories in this way. I have several items with this type of lining stitching.

If you're asking about authenticity for the bag in the listing above, please post pictures of the bag and a clear picture of the creed. The seller states in the listing, "I barely ever used it, for fear that it would get dirty!" IMO, the inside of the bag looks pretty dusty and full of lint to me.

yup and thats why i'm returning it and getting a refund, you should see the dustbag that has lots of what i think is animal hair. ok i'll take more pix when i get home of the bag...thanks starrymaz :D

Comments: i'm freaking out at the stitching on this bag. it seems as if it were restitched but seller claims she never did. the next day, i rec'd again another denim bag, different style and again the stitching was off...i'm not even gonna ask if this is how its suppose to be. so i'll just wait for a response. the last one that came in is in real good condition until i saw the lining and that too is off....here's a pix also on this one. no pix yet on the other, will post tonite...

Sheesh! How is it that a seller doesn't think a buyer will be disappointed when they receive a bag described as "barely used" and it's filthy?!? Why can't they be honest?

As a buyer, I'd much rather be pleasantly surprised that a bag is "better than described," than to be disappointed by non-disclosure.

I'VE LOST OUT ON A COUPLE OF BAGS THAT WEREN'T AS DESCRIBED, OPENED A CASE, BUT STILL LOST. THAT REALLY HURTS. SO NOW WHAT I DO IS TAKE VIDEO OF MYSELF SHOWING FIRST THAT THE BAG wasnt tampered with then i start to open it. as soon as i see something, that video camera is there. i also take pix. send those to the seller and if they still dont believe, then i upload the video...i go thru all of this now just so i dont get screwed over again. i've opened and lost 4 cases. and i cant believe they got away with them.99% of the time, i ask before i bid of the conditions, etc...and when it gets here, oh boy....

Thanks for your reply : )

I was wondering if I should be asking for any particular questions and/or asking for specific pictures of the bag to help give me more of an indication of the bags authenticity?

Is that your bag and your pictures? If so, I don't see anything at all that would make me think it's not authentic.

The only thing I don't see is the little leather strip on the strap (don't know the name) that the end of the strap goes through. (The picture of my Court is below and you can see what I mean if you compare pictures).

Other than that not showing up in the pictures, I don't see any problem with authenticity. If you haven't purchased it yet you may want to provide a "link" to the bag and also ask the seller if the "strip" of leather that holds the strap end is actually missing.

If this bag is the one listed on Etsy, I inquired the seller a while back and they confirmed that the loop is missing on the strap. Just a heads up ;)

Do not report! It's fine. It's a MFF Chelsea zip satchel.

While we appreciate your wanting to report fakes, a bag isn't fake just because you've never seen the style or because you think it's ugly....or whatever other reason you might think it's fake.

I'm no expert on the recent outlet bags but there are dozens of the same style listed on Ebay, which usually means they've been at the outlets within the last month.

Why do you think it's fake?

I'M NOT EXPERT, but, just curious what makes you think it isn't real? i checked ebay and there are 33 more items w/this creed #, just dif. colors, and i have one in this line as well, but the tote style, in black and white. so i'm just curious thats all...we'll wait to see what the experts say...:smile1:

lol...guess they already answered or was just slow to post....

I thought it was fake cause I thought that all the heritage striped collection had the c's inline but I guess this bag slipped through. I must have missed some of that line. thanks guys. I asked for more pics they gave me some excuse of not uploading correctly. Maybe they were telling the truth.
