Can't control my love of patchwork! :sigh: AND am again breaking my "no posting after midnight" rule, but wanted an opinion on these two before I BIN them!

Item: COACH PURSE - BLUE DENIM Patchwork
Number: 200553960258
Seller: battelle01
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/COACH-PURSE-BLU...H_Handbags&hash=item2eb1f29342#ht_1811wt_1139
Comments: That BIN price seems a little too good to be true!

Item:COACH PATCHWORK HAMPTONS HOBO/BAG & MATCHING WALLET GUC
Number: 170576371197
Seller: macarena1
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/COACH-PATCHWORK...WH_Handbags&hash=item27b724ddfd#ht_1028wt_905
Comments - Again, that BIN price seem way, way too good to be true if they are both authentic!

Thanks, everyone!

Thank you. The hang tag is heavier than normal. I know the bag is a bit older, so is that normal that the tag is sturdier?

I am in no way an expert, but the older bags I have that I KNOW are authentic have the same feature. The metal hang tag is much heavier and sturdier than the ones I've just gotten from the boutique near me.

I'd wait for an expert to verify, just letting you know my own experience!

Both pieces look fine authenticity-wise but take note of the soiling and marks on both. The cotton fabric tends to get dirty and I'm not sure how easy or successful cleanup attempts would be.

I'm commenting separately because I don't want my comments on this one to be confused with the other.

This listing confuses me. The pictures show an authentic bag but I don't know why the seller is showing the "same bag" via a link to another selling site in the description. (That BTW is an ebay no-no.) At first, I thought both listings were the same bag but in fact, they are different bags with different pattern placements.

I think the seller is simply trying to show what a "great deal" you're getting by buying from him/her.

I noticed that and have had a crash course in cleaning with my "rescue" of a green optic bag! I decided to pass on this one!

That's the impression I had too - I'm going to go ahead and get this one, because this item is bar far the best shape I've seen on a pre-owned bag of this style.

I'm not particularly bothered by the suede dirt - I have the same issues with a pink patch swingpack I have (which I have to keep a constant watch on!) - whoever decided to put SUEDE in the patches was INSANE, IMHO. The emery board trick I read here works like a charm - also suede cleaner is good for stubborn items.

Thanks so much, BB!

It looks fine.

In the future, please post in the format requested in the first post of the thread. It's helpful in future searches for seller IDs and items.

Thank you BeenBurned! I also uploaded the actual photos of the bag for your verification. The ebay photos uploaded by the seller is not very clear, so I thought I should upload actual photos particularly the creed. Can you please have a look again. My concern is that the stitching of creed (bottom right) is not flawless. Also, there's a light peeling at the top opening of the bag. Thanks. :smile1:

Here's one I'm not so sure of. I'm deathly afraid of purchasing off eBay, and this one is kind of questionable to me. I'm no expert, but the C's don't really appear to line up too well on the bottom of this bag.

Comments:

What do you guys think? I'm pretty hung up on a Carly handbag or a Heritage satchel, but the satchel is getting harder and harder to find in the colors I want.

Thanks in advance!

Comments: After reading the Keyfob thread I started to wonder about some keychains I recently purchased on Ebay. I think I got scammed & they are FAKES :( :( NEVER would I have thought people would make fake keychains!!! It came with that fake 2 piece box :( What makes me think it IS for sure fake is it is VERY light weight, it doesn't have the TINY hangtag like the ones I purchased from Coach and it says Coach alot of times on each charm back. This is the 1st of 2 keychains I bought that I think are fakes.
