I am so sorry if this is not the right place to put this but I have tried a few times to post this but cannot ever find it again. I purchased this Coach purse in the late 1970's at Marshall Fields in Chicago, it has no hardward except for the inside zipper, there is no id number under the Coach info and there were never straps, just a true clutch. Can anyone remember what this style is called and why there would be no id number? Again, I am sorry for posting incorrectly but it seems I cannot find the correct way to do this, thanks for any help

Some smaller bags made as accessories didn't have numbers, and very early handbags didn't either.

We need more photos of your clutch showing the back, the opening and inside and a side view if possible, also the measurements. Coach made dozens of clutches as handbags, personal accessories and business and travel items and one photo just isn't enough to identify yours. Thanks!

Thanks gals and hopefully i got the link right! :smile1:

I don't see a problem with the bag authenticity-wise but I don't recommend seller anhtuan82.There is definitely shill bidding going on. Although it's somewhat more difficult to "prove" with private listings, one of the "favorite" customers of this seller is anonymized as a***1pics.ebaystatic.com/aw/pics/s.gif
and is Member id tramha2711.

There's also at least one other shill bidder, also from Texas as is the seller.

Personally, I try to avoid private listings as there is just too much opportunity to hide a multitude of violations.

Thank you BeenBurned. I had a feeling something wasn't right, Hyacinth also helped me make a decision. Thanks gals!

ITEM: 2 VINTAGE Coach Leather Clutch BLACK AND BROWN
LISTING No.59437314
SELLER: yoono 174
LINK:http://www.etsy.com/listing/59437314/2-vintage-coach-leather-clutch-black-and?ref=pr_shop
ARE THESE AUTHENTIC? NICE LEATHER TO ME BUT NEED SOMEONE TO LET ME KNOW IF THESE ARE REAL. THANK YOU.

The seller's pictures are sadly lacking in detail. I would ask for a "readable" picture of the creeds and also pictures of the sides of the bags to see if the metal "attachments" are there for straps. Or at least ask him/her if those metal rings are there.

They both look like the "Basic Bag" (pictured below) but with missing straps. If you are looking for clutch bags, that's just fine, but otherwise I think those are 2 "incomplete" bags.

Item: COACH Hampton Pebble Medium Carryall
Link: http://www.mudah.my/COACH+Hampton+Pebble+Medium+Carryall-7265999.htm

This was advertised in a local malaysian public site. The creed says it is of style 10528 but i cant find any bag of this style# on ebay or even google. The bag looks very familiar though i think i may have seen it before.

The link should bring you pics but let me know if you need me to actually save the pics from there and attach them here.

Thank you!

Thank you DemRam, I see a wrist strap so they could have taken off the metal rings. Thanks for the info and I will email the seller for further info. I am looking for a clutch bag, when I travel I just jam all my junk in them.

Thank you so much, here are some more pictures, the clutch is almost 13 inches long and 6 3/4 inches wide. Again, your help is greatly appreciated. I am going to sell this on ebay and did not want to make a mistake so I am trying to find out style info and what you think I should include in the listing. I am also having trouble attaching my pcitures as it says my files are too big and I'm not sure how to reduce them. Do you know of another way to send pictures? Oh, I am sorry for all this trouble
