Tell your friend to contact that liar she bought it from and insist on a FULL refund. If the crook wants it back, your friend should tell her that the seller will have to pay the postage. If she refuses your friend needs to file a Dispute immediately with Ebay since the item is SNAD, counterfeit AND illegal to sell anywhere in the US. The seller is lying through her teeth about where she bought it and knows darn well that it's fake. And there's a lot more wrong with that bag than just the creed - it's a complete mess.

If the seller had two bags in the same exact style but made a month apart, it's not a concern. The first letter in the serial number is Coach's code for the month the item was made. Obviously the seller is re-using the same photos from the other listing but as long as the bag you get matches the details of the bag in the photo except for the first digit, it should be ok.

I'm still a bit wary about the Private listing on the earlier bag. If you bid, watch for any evidence of bid shilling.

Yes, you're correct. It's fake. If your friend hasn't paid for it, she should not pay and let the seller know why.

The seller also has completed listings for a fake Chanel bag and fake Chanel sunglasses.

I don't see a problem with the bag authenticity-wise but I don't recommend seller anhtuan82.There is definitely shill bidding going on. Although it's somewhat more difficult to "prove" with private listings, one of the "favorite" customers of this seller is anonymized as a***1pics.ebaystatic.com/aw/pics/s.gif
and is Member id tramha2711.

There's also at least one other shill bidder, also from Texas as is the seller.

Personally, I try to avoid private listings as there is just too much opportunity to hide a multitude of violations.
