Here is the link to the auction. I was a fool for not paying more attention to the signs, but I was not well informed at the time. The bag I bought was exactly the same as the one I sent pictures of earlier only in mahogany.

Thank you so much for your help and expertise. I really appreciate it. Carol

I forgot to list the reasons that I thought it was a fake after closely examining the bag. The closing was wrong -- instead of the side pockets having magnetic closures, each side pocket had one magnetic clasp and it closed over the top of the zipper; the lining is cheap and does not have the key ring; the zipper pull on the top of the bag was on backwards; the buckles on the sides of the bag do not lay flat; the leather that lines the top edges of the bag is pebbled as opposed to smooth; it does have YKK zippers but I learned that sometimes the fakes do; there is cardboard in the bottom of the bag to make it stiff; and the stitching on the bottom corners is not perfect. Hope this helps someone else. Thank you all.

This bag is a fake and the seller owes you a full refund. If she doesn't agree to it, file a dispute.

You should also add a comment to the feedback indicating that the seller has fakes. Hopefully future buyers will see it and be forewarned.

Do not buy from unicornandponys. In looking at the feedback, although the listings are no longer visible, it appears that this seller has ripped off quite a large number of buyers. There's no way based on quantities and selling prices that any Coach items were authentic.

Edited to add: It's important that you file a dispute immediately. You only have 45 days from date of purchase to open a dispute and you won the item on July 4. Today is 41 days.

I was about to respond saying the same things, but BB beat me to it! :D

The bag is definitely fake. Please contact the seller and ask for a refund. If the seller refuses to refund, file a dispute. You should not have to be stuck with a fake bag.

EDIT: Just saw BB's edited post indicating that it's been 41 days since the end of the auction. I agree, you need to file a dispute NOW. I wouldn't bother with contacting the seller.

I just want to stress again the importance of the revision I made to my post.

Time is of the essence for you to file your dispute. The seller might try to stall in responding in the hope that the time will run out.

Since you're already at 41-42 days since the listing ended, I'd open a SNAD dispute immediately. Let the seller respond to the dispute. You don't have time to negotiate outside of ebay.

Seller Coach_fanatic has been mentioned here before as a seller of handmade jewelry which she describes as "Coach" without disclosing that Coach isn't the actual maker of the final piece. And even worse, some of the keychains she takes apart to make her overpriced items are FAKE. Do NOT buy from this seller.

Here's the thread, she's been reported to Ebay before:

Does this look authentic?

Any idea what style # it is?

TIA :)

It's fake. I hope you weren't the winning bidder. If you were, I hope you haven't paid yet. No one should ever bid on a style as highly faked as a Sabrina based on only one picture.

This wallet that wildhog1100 has sold is also fake:

Please authenticate this Ergo, I'm not sure if the model no. is correct and creed patch pic is a dark mess:

Item: Authentic COACH Ergo Pleated Bag 12728
Listing number: 280547978587
Seller: gnrepgnrep
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com.sg/Authentic-COACH-Ergo-Pleated-Bag-12728-/280547978587?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_216

Thank you.

There's no way to determine authenticity based on those pictures. There is no picture of the entire bag, only a stock photo stolen from the Coach website. The other pictures are useless. In general, I don't recommend buying from sellers who show only a stock photo in lieu of actual pictures of the bag.

I didn't want to start bidding until I got another opinion on the authenticity of this bag! Thank you guys for all your help!!!:graucho:

There should be more pictures of the bag, including larger pictures of the front, back, sides, hardware, inside. There should also be more pictures of the wristlet, including a straight-on picture of the front, the back and the inside.
