The charm appears to be okay but the necklace isn't Coach jewelry.

This seller, coach_fanatic, is slightly more transparent than some other "custom" jewelry sellers in that her listings do state "Hand Crafted by me from Coach's Multi Jewel key fob ring #92642." but many buyers don't fully read descriptions and may not realize that they're not getting a Coach item.

The seller buys Coach keychains, dissembles them and uses the charms on her own generic chains.

Edited to add the following:
Seller Coach_fanatic has been mentioned here before as a seller of handmade jewelry which she describes as "Coach" without disclosing that Coach isn't the actual maker of the final piece. And even worse, some of the keychains she takes apart to make her overpriced items are FAKE. Do NOT buy from this seller.

Here's the thread, she's been reported to Ebay before:

ETA: After reading Hyacinth's response that the seller doesn't know the difference between real and fake keychains, I wouldn't recommend Coach_fanatic.

This bag is a fake and the seller owes you a full refund. If she doesn't agree to it, file a dispute.

You should also add a comment to the feedback indicating that the seller has fakes. Hopefully future buyers will see it and be forewarned.

Do not buy from unicornandponys. In looking at the feedback, although the listings are no longer visible, it appears that this seller has ripped off quite a large number of buyers. There's no way based on quantities and selling prices that any Coach items were authentic.

Edited to add: It's important that you file a dispute immediately. You only have 45 days from date of purchase to open a dispute and you won the item on July 4. Today is 41 days.
Hi Starry, once again I send you my sincere thanks. I have left follow-up feedback claiming the bag is a fake. I have also filed a dispute with Paypal. The seller continues to claim that the bag is real and uses every excuse in the book, claiming that it was bought in Dillards and that the Coach expert told her that Coach makes every bag different and that's how they can tell what is their bag. Oh boy, she must think everyone is stupid. She wants me to take the bag to Coach for verification, not to someone who thinks they know. I sent her a copy of your response to the other seller who had the same fake Coach. Hope you have a wonderful weekend and thank you again for your prompt accurate response. Carol

Sorry, I thought it was Starry who responded. My thanks go to you BeenBurned and I appreciate all of your advice. I have filed a dispute with Paypal and also left follow-up feedback stating that the bag is a fake. She continues to claim that it is real, even when I told her she stated in the auction that she received it as a gift and then claimed she bought it herself and has the receipt from Dillards. Now when I called her a liar, she claims her sister bought it for her and she was with her. Oh boy, how creative. Thank you again and hope you have a great weekend.

LOL! Okay, take it to Coach, tell them you bought it from an ebay seller who claims it's authentic and let her know what they say.

(When buyers tell Coach they bought an item from ebay, Coach is known to tell them that even authentic bags are fake!)

No doubt, your seller knows that she sold a fake and is digging a deeper hole. Good luck. Keep us updated so we'll know that you won the dispute.

Hi Coach experts!

Can someone take a look at this piece for me? I took a gamble and picked it up at a TS. It's an older piece....not sure what other photos you will need. I also haven't cleaned it up yet, but it's in pretty good shape, IMO.

THANK YOU!

A photo of the entire bag would be most helpful, though it does appear to be a 1996 "Pocket Purse".

Welcome to tPF and I'm glad you came here before buying and possibly making a mistake.

The bag appears to be okay but I think the seller may have misread the prefix of the serial number. It appears to be B050 which means the bag would have been made in February of 2005.

I don't have a picture of style 8K87 so I don't know whether that's a valid style.

Please wait for other opinions.

In answer to your question about losing out on a bag because of a question here, I'm sure it sometimes happens. But it's still a better idea to ask questions first because it's easier to avoid a bad listing or a bad seller than it is to win it and try to fight for a refund after the fact.

There are very few styles that are so rare that even if you miss out on one, another will come along. Don't be impulsive.

HI, I'M WATCHING THIS ITEM ON EBAY....110570982109, No.D2J-2313. (sorry, dont know how to post links yet..lol)

they say it's authentic, but never seen one like this and cant find online....real? thanks
Based on the serial number, I do not believe that listing is authentic. 2313 does not sound like a style number for a handbag.

Please wait for other confirmation.
