Hello. I already bought this, but now I think it might be fake....the creed is really worn down (but if you look closely- it can be read) and the black edges along the white patent look sloppy. Could you authenticate this, please? Thanks!

It's hard to see much detail from the pics. Can you post larger pictures of the bag: front, back, bottom, hardware, hangtag, inside, and a larger picture of the creed? What are the "black edges along the white patent"? Can you post a closeup picture of this? Does the bag appear to have been cleaned? That may explain the worn creed. If you could post the link to where you bought this that would help as well.

Unfortunately I purchased through ebay a bag that was exactly the same and when I had an email exchange with the seller, I was told she purchased the bag at Dillards, etc. and offered a million other excuses. I will make sure I never get ripped off again thanks to your help.

Actually- the creed does look like it was moistened at some point- the letters are there, they are just flattened, so the camera does not pick it up really well....
At the top of the patent binding, there are dark marks where the edging looks like it bled?
I bought this bag on Craigslist......so no link. Here are some hopefully better pictures....

In order for us to authenticate your bag, we need to see pictures of the bag you received. Please post pictures of the front, back, bottom, sides, hardware, logo plaque, hangtags, and a closeup picture of the creed. Please also post a link to the auction.
I don't recommend buying from thefinerthings1388, as this seller steals pictures from other sellers. It's questionable whether those pictures are even the seller's own pictures.
In many of her listings, the seller uses stock photos stolen from the Coach website.

I think the dark marks are where some of the edging came off of the bag... but it looks ok to me... I would wait for a second opinion from another viewer though...
The bag is fine. It appears that someone tried to clean the creed which made have caused the fading. On a used bag, it's a common occurrance for the sealant on the edges to peel like that.
