Thank you!! :)

Wow, thanks for the help...I have been reading and learning a lot. Have you ever checked out the bidding site iOffer.com? It is absolutely FULL of fakes. Must not have any regulations. Buyers beware!

Item: lot of 3 VTG Coach leather bags purse

Comments: Please help authenticate. TIA!

Judging by the pictures provided they all "appear" to be authentic.

If you're bidding and you win, protect yourself by paying with your credit card.

Post clear photos of the creeds on this thread if you win them.

No. C0993-F13720

This does appear to fit the description. Fake?

I just bought this. Now I am worried.

I haven't got this yet and I will cancel the transtraction on my credit card if its fake. The pics matched those of authentic bags...but that number. After I read the article on number and emblems, I realized I might have been a fool, again. I tried the drill down link and I just end up at the Coach homepage. It would be nice if they would post an archive of the many styles they have made.

Did you post a link to the auction with that bag?

I can't help with the newer stuff but I do know that the "F" in front of the last 5 numbers means it was "Made for Factory" and I don't believe you will find pictures of the Factory bags listed anywhere.

Definitely wait for the people that know for sure!

Hello,
I would GREATLY appreciate if someone could let me know if this bag is authentic? I have all legacy bags so am not "up" on others. Thanks so much.

I appreciate your time.

The link was broken so I've copied it below. The bag looks good to me but wait for the experts - good luck!

I was wondering if some of the lovely vintage Coach buffs here could help me authenticate this? Could you also give me an idea of the style name and the date based on the serial number? Also, is there some thread on here or a website that might discuss specific dates according to serial number? I've seen some of you pinpoint your bags to an exact year. Thanks in advance for any and all help!!

Please post a link to the listing or auction where you bought the bag.

And as DemRam said, that number belongs to a bag made for the Factory Stores - DON'T expect to find those on the Internet (or even in the computer system of the full-price Coach stores!), and NEVER depend on information or photos you find on the Internet to prove whether or not a Coach is genuine! Just because something is posted on the 'Net DOESN'T mean it's correct. The internet is a garbage dump - all kinds of trash can end up there.

I don't know what "article on numbers and emblems" you read but obviously it wasn't correct. And the Drilldown hasn't worked for almost 2 years now.

And read the more recent posts here at the Answers To Authenticity Questions thread for accurate information:
