1. Do NOT buy from martinovic39. Every current Coach wristlet is fake as are the two completed listings for which buyers got ripped off.

2. Seller bilbobaggens16 sells authentic. The bag in the listing is fine.

3. Please wait for Hyacinth and/or DemRam for authentication of these bags.

I've been doing some digging and I think the round bags are called chester bags...anyone have any info on those bags? I really love the shape would be a unique looking bag to add to my growing collection. I think I have talked myself out of the light blue bag because of the light colour and because I really don't need it just because it's 'special'...I would probably never carry a bag that light in case of colour transfer.

Comments: With all these issues TPF is having hourly someone can check this out for me. I was the winner of this auction. I asked the seller to post a creed pic, but she said because there were bids and less than 24 hours left on the auction she couldn't post it. She did tell me the creed number was E5E-4401. Further research led me to believe this is a Carlyle bag from the Madison collection. I am awaiting a creed pic before I pay, but I hoped someone could give me a tentative opinion based on the information at hand. thanks!

Here is the creed pic, hopefully this pic is ok! I would hate to have to ask the seller again!

The creed looks just fine for that bag. Made in Italy in 1995. Go for it! You got a great looking bag!

I strongly advise you NOT to buy that wallet. The main gallery photo isn't what you'll be receiving, it's a photo stolen right from Coach's website. And there's a detail in the second photo that points right to Chinese fakes-selling sites, as does every other "Coach" listed http://myworld.ebay.com.au/allmp3accessories/?_trksid=p4340.l2559by seller ALLMP3ACCESSORIES. That's one of the reasons we ask everyone to use the format in Post 1 of this thread when asking for authentication.

The Chester Bag's measurements in Coach's Holiday 1993 catalog are listed as 9x7 inches, and the Canteen Bag as 7.5 x 6.5 inches, so the Chester would be the larger of the two. The Chester is style 9901 and was listed at $162 in 1993. The Canteen Bag 9982 listed for $142 in the Holiday 1995 catalog.

I was going to recommend against doing business with allmp3accessories but I see that Hyacinth already responded.

In fact, all the listings not only use pictures "borrowed" from other sources but the descriptions are taken from elsewhere too.

ALLMP3ACCESSORIES sold this item: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270751056421

The listing was stolen from this seller, from the watermarked pictures right down to the description, copied and pasted in the same words and even with the same font:

Do not buy from ALLMP3ACCESSORIES.

I just received in the mail the 1998 Chelsea legacy hobo - 6003 that I had ordered earlier this week. The bag is beautiful and as described; however, I'm a little concerned about the hang tag attached to it. It matches the grey colour of the leather, but it's not exactly like the hang tags that I'm used to on the newer bags. It is very soft and the word Coach appears quite flat on it (it doesn't bulge out as it does on the newer purses). It also doesn't have the metal surrounding on top. Is this characteristic of older hang tags? I hope that it doesn't undermine the authenticity of the bag?

I had the bag authenticated on here before purchasing. The seller is silver-coach who has been described as a reputable seller on here.

Here is the link to the listing - it states that it had ended but if you scroll down, it still has all the pictures and information.

I think the hang tag looks fine for that bag. At least it looks like the hang tags on all my older bags.

Maybe Hyacinth will comment on it, because but I don't own any newer Coach and have no idea what the "new" hang tags look like.

I picked up this bag at a thrift store. I am not very familiar with the Coach brand so I can't tell if it is authentic.

The creed reads that it was"...handcrafted in China from the finest haircalf trimmed with genuine lamb nappa."

It has the bulls eye symbol on the creed plate, brass hang tag, snap closure and it came with a Coach pamplet.

Photos attached.

Thank you!
