You're welcome! Were you concerned about the "United States" on the creed? Coach originally made just about everything in the USA.

Now that everything is made in China, the quality is just not the same in my opinion.

Your "new" bag will last for another generation or two, while the new stuff falls apart in a matter of years.

It's authentic though. I've touched up some of my own bags, but I would expect a seller to disclose those changes. Maybe you could ask if the leather has been altered with any products?

Since the seller doesn't normally sell Coach and has a high feedback, do you think she would willingly remove the listing if she knew it was fake? Does anyone have the nerve to contact her?

My totally unprofessional opinion is that it is fake. The c's are too big for the scale of the wallet, the Coach imprint should be closer to the corner.
Please wait for the ladies in the know to give their opinion. I just want to know if I am right.

The "Made in the United States" statement was only at the bottom of the creed for a few years between the late 1980s and the middle 1990s. Coach creed designs and wording change constantly and there are no Rules that apply to more than a small percentage of them at any one time, especially the older Coaches.

Report the bag AND contact the seller - be polite but point out that buying a bag at an estate sale still requires the bag be authenticated before listing it on Ebay. And if the seller bought any other bags at that sale those should be authenticated too. Sending them a link to Ebay's rules couldn't hurt either.

Thank you. I have had a few nasty messages in the past when I have contacted sellers, and I have always tried to be as polite as possible, so I hope this works.
