hmm I also think it's important to note that seller has more bags with that weird creed the classic orange ergo has the dashes in the first three numbers of the creed as well D-8-J...and it has the same unevenness in the creed border!!! Same beginning of the creed as the geometric bag I was looking at!!!
I think that it might be safe to say they are good fakes!!

The creed looks fine. If by keychain you mean the hangtag, those often are taken off the bags. You can get a replacement from Coach just by calling their Customer Service line and giving them the bag's serial number and tell them what color leather and metal you need. They may send you a plain silver-metal one.

And they don't "break off", they come unfastened in 2 seconds.

Good catch! The creed borders are slightly different between the two and the Coach logo also isn't exactly the same. But now I'm doubly sure I wouldn't recommend either the bags or the seller. Oh, and the plant code J should indicate a Chinese plant, not a U.S. one - another little problem.

I didn't go through the rest of them that stupid slideshow got on my nerves but from what I did look at I don't think I would touch her auctions with a ten foot pole...

In this case the zero is ok because it's a classic bag with only a 4-digit style code but bags made after 2007 need to have 5 digits in that space, so if Coach keeps an old style number instead of creating a new one they just add a zero in front.

Someone asked about the leather texture of the Made in China classics - no, it's not like the old original Coaches. Maybe because it doesn't seem to develop the same patina, but it's definitely not the same. I have 2 recent Chinese-made classics and only bought them for the colors, and actually took a red one back because it just felt cheap compared to my 1990s versions.

That one is a stone cold FAKE. The number is on the Fakes List and a Coach serial number should NEVER start with a "P".

Another question for someone that knows newer stuff does coach ever stamp their hardware with coach?? The same seller has a few bags that they have already sold that look vintage but have the hardware stamped with coach! There are no creed pics so I can't tell if it's a newer bag that was made after the vintage style or if it's fake...

It depends on the style. A few older lines like Mercers had Coach stamped on the buckles but each bag would have to be looked at individually.

And because of the volume done by that seller, getting a current listing removed will be almost impossible, much less a Completed one.

Yeah, I hate those slide shows - the photos go by so slow and you can't just go to the one you are interested in. The very worst I have seen is the youtube links. Does anyone ever really look at those? Oh and the ones with music - I am usually already listening to music when I am looking and I don't want theirs competing with mine. Sometimes simpler is better.

Quite a few styles in the late 90s used that kind of buckle, and I think all of them were stamped. That one's genuine.

BTW, if you keep a list of sellers to avoid, the name used for the Photobucket account is one of her buying IDs.

Between all the extra dashes and the flaws in the border around the creed, there's no way I'd feel comfortable recommending that bag or that seller.

The slideshow is just an extra annoyance but one that makes it really hard to actually see and examine the details of the bag. Sellers who do that always make me wonder what they're trying to hide. And that seller HAS been reported before for selling fakes under at least 2 different IDs.

There's also another detail of the creed I'm really not happy with. Sorry.

Phew! I was waiting for other responses and opinions on handbag_babe. This seller also sells under the ID of pianomusikmomhttp://myworld.ebay.com/pianomusikmom/?_trksid=p4340.l2559, another ID that has sold fakes.
