Thank you very much, I have no idea on that as well, but you are right, the imprint should close to the corner...

I will wait for other to help me on this..beause if it is not authentic, then I have to return to the seller and get the refund.

If the question is connected with a bag you're having authenticated, ask all the questions about the bag and the style in the same authentication thread. Otherwise you can probably ask them as a new topic in the main Coach forum.

Please understand that those aren't easy kinds of questions to answer since Coach doesn't publish any details of its history other than a very few books about the company itself. Figuring out when a specific style was introduced usually involves a search of old catalogs and that's something most posters here don't have access to so you may not always get an answer. Also whenever possible, please include the style number when asking about specific bags, for instance the names Hippie, Crescent and Saddle Bag have been used on a number of different styles. (The Taft came out in Fall of 1995).

I asked about the Taft because I just purchased one last night and I really want the Hippie Crescent Saddlebag that's made in New York City from the 70's, I think. Btw, you are very cool! :) I really appreciate you taking your time to answer my questions. Thanks again!

She left the word authentic off the fake, so she does know, so contacting her won't do any good. At least now, her id is on this forum. thanks

Comments: My long-distance boyfriend bought just bought this bag for me from a consignment store. I have not seen it in person yet, so that is why I'm posting this link. The bag he got is identical. The fact that the pattern doesn't match up at the seams and also that the bag is made of canvas lead me to believe this is a fake. He thinks it is real, so I need a second or third opinion if possible.

Can someone tell me if this is counterfeit?

Anyone have any info on this vintage bag? I have asked seller for pics of the creed/interior, but until then, wondered if anyone here had any info.
