Do not buy from usmcmomtracy. If her name is truly accurate as to her status as the mother of a US Marine, she should be ashamed of herself.

All her Coach bags are fake. I wonder if she knows her listings support the very terrorists that her child is fighting against.

This disgusts me! Look at all the ripped off buyers. :(

thanks so much. I will report every one. I thought the one with the pink stripe looked almost real.

This is where I get really confused... with 100% positive feedback, are they real posts or made up to make her site look authentic?

Is there a listing of "safe" ebayer sellers out there?

This seller only has 8 feedbacks and none of it is as a seller. So even for all those fakes that were sold, there aren't any feedbacks yet.

If the buyers of the fakes don't know they got fakes (i.e., they don't recognized that it's cheaply made and they don't know what to look for to determine authenticity), they might eventually leave positive feedback.

That's why feedback isn't always accurate as to a seller's honesty. There are some big sellers who wouldn't recognize an authentic item if it bit them, yet they have 100% feedback. Either buyers don't know what they got or if they do, the seller might have claimed ignorance and issued a full refund. So the buyers assume the seller is honest and leave positive feedback.

And then there are trusted sellers who have never sold a fake who get buyers who read one of the thousands of inaccurate guides floating around the internet. They don't know that they got the real deal and improperly accuse the seller of selling a fake.

When buying on ebay or anywhere, it's caveat emptor - buyer beware!

I am new to the ebay process. I know what shilling is - how do you know a seller "shills" their own product?
Look at the seller's listings. On the listing page, where it shows the number of bids, click on the number. It will show all the bidders on the item. The bidder's id's are disguised, but their feedback number is in parentheses after the id. The shill bidders are usually the ones with a feedback of 0 or 1. Click on the bidder id. It will show all the bids this bidder has done. There is a place that says "activity with this seller", and for a shill bidder, this will be 100%. This means they aren't bidding on anyone else's auctions. If you see the same bidder showing up on several of the seller's auctions, then you know it is a shill bidder. You can also look at the seller's completed listings to see if you see the same pattern. You can report the shill bidder to ebay, but only if the auctions are still active.
I have seen at least one seller I reported get removed from ebay for it.

THANK YOU - I did not get a response from the seller, so I opted to pass on this one.

I really appreciate the extra effort to ensure authentic sellers get my business!
You're welcome.

If I were you, I would have let her know why I walked away. A good seller would consider it to be constructive criticism and might be more apt to respond to requests in the future so she doesn't miss out on more sales. (That's just me. You might not be comfortable doing that, though.)

No, that is a good idea... like you said, if it is an authentic sale, the seller should have no problem knowing why... I would!

This listing is fake.

I saw post #16132 but I didn't feel comfortable enough making a determination. I'm not feeling the love because it doesn't look right to me, but please wait for Starry or Hyacinth to confirm. http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-shopping/authenticate-this-coach-577470-1076.html#post19253071

I'd like to see a closeup picture of the creed.

Can someone pls help. I've tried googling the model number, and all I get are pictures of fakes which look exactly the same.

I have asked the seller for receipt, but says she don't have it. She said it was bought it in Japan.
Shouldn't the tattersall lining have coach words on it, just like the ones in my Bleecker tote?
TIA

Please ask for a closeup picture of the creed, a picture of the logo on the front, and a closeup picture of the hangtag.

It's the only genuine Coach that seller has - Legacy Small Hobo from 2001.

Hyacinth, I don't think I've ever seen a serial number with a dash before the month code. Was this done back then? TIA.
