PLS REPLY............PLS TELL ME .....I WANTED TO ADD TO A BAG AND GIFT IT TO MY SIS...what does make it authentic w/out them?

Good question - I thought I saw some at the outlets without the stamp but without knowing what style the wallet is, it's going to be hard to find photos. Hold off on gifting it until I can find some other examples. And I'll re-copy the post number here again:

BTW, was there a checkbook holder included with the wallet? It looks like a full-size one at least 7 inches long with a slot for a checkbook cover.

Not all Soho wallets had stamped buckles. Yours looks like a Soho Sig #41284, Coach's picture is below followed by a Trusted seller's pics of another full-size wallet from the same series #41283. I have a similar 41306 Multi Print wallet with the same buckle and details and bought at the outlet so there's no question whatsoever that it's genuine and it's very similar to the 41443 shown below, also a 42138 Soho Mini Wallet with the same details and buckle. There are quite few Soho wallets that don't have stamped buckles and I own at least 2 different styles, both bought at the outlets.

Isn't this search manipulation? Should we report it?

It's not Coach and shouldn't have "Coach" in the title. You're correct. It's KWS.

In the description, they have Coach as the manufacturer. That is incorrect.

WAKO is one of several Korean companies that Coach sued in international court about 15 years ago for blatant trademark violations. They sold a ton of bags actually labelled as "Coach" complete with bogus creeds like this one. They're probably responsible for about half of the Korean-made Coach fakes in circualtion.

And check out the creed - notice something else that seems familiar?

Give that lady a GOLD STAR !!!

This may be a no brainer but I was in Gulfport MS this last week and I purchased a lovely little coin purse from the coach outlet. I am now worried because it has a Made in China tag on the outside and no markings signifying it is coach.

Should I return it?

Just about everything Coach manufactures is Made In China.

If you purchased from a legit Coach store or outlet...you can be certain that it's authentic.

:smile1:

Please ask the seller for additional pictures: a straight-on picture of the creed, the front and back of the bag with the handles raised so the rivets are showing, the bottom of the bag, the rivets on the base of the handles, the lining, and the inside and outside zipper pulls.

Here's the only other pic she sent me.....I asked her to send me everything you indicated above....do you think I should go for this?

I don't see the picture. Did you already purchase the bag?

I HAVE WON THIS ITEM W/OUT GETTING MORE INFO...I KNOW, I KNOW...EVEN WORSE THAT THIS IS A NEW SELLER...ANYWAY, I HAVE REC'D THE WALLET TODAY AND CONCERNED THAT THERE IS NO CREED IMPRINT OR LOGO ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT AS THE WALLETS USUALLY HAVE. NOTHING EITHER ON THE LINING MATERIAL OR THE BUCKLE IN THE FRONT. THE ONLY THING THAT SAYS COACH IS THE SNAP BUTTON CLOSURE....THESE ARE PIX THAT I HAD TAKEN MYSELF. PLEASE AUTHENTICATE! AS ALWAYS, THANK U!

It looks ok to me too. As Hyacinth says, not all Soho wallets have stamped buckles. Also, the checkbook holder is missing. The Coach imprint is on the checkbook holder part.

Small accessories are also made in India or Viet Nam. There may be other countries that I'm not recalling about at the moment.

But as DemRam stated, if it came from the Coach outlet, it's authentic.
