You're a brave lady! But as long as all the materials are almost the same color and you recondition the leather afterwards, that actually makes sense to do. It's definitely the most effective way of getting all the surface smudges off. Isn't it amazing what a Coach can handle? :D

That's such a cute summer bag too - hope it ends up looking like brand new!

As far as I can see they're the same exact bag. Here's the listing you asked about and the photos, and the last photo is Coach's pic of the Ergo XL Tote 12239. They're both clear bags with frosted Cs and the same exact details except for the missing coin purse or mini-wristlet.

At the top of the page, just above the first post on the page, there's a "thread tools" dropdown box.

It looks good to me too.

I looked at a few of the seller's previous sales (from feedback) and they, too, looked okay but there's a huge lack of details and pictures, which probably accounts for the low selling prices that the seller received.
