Look, I made a mistake. If you read my post, it says that I have never bought a hello kitty keychain. I was told by an SA at the Edinburgh outlet that coach did make them in years past. I guess she was misinformed as well. I'm sorry.

I'm sorry, Seamusmom, I didn't mean to upset you. I was just concerned that someone might bid on one of those fakes thinking they were genuine. Fake keychains are a frustrating subject because Ebay never seems to pull them, and even if they do the crooks that are selling these things are never kicked off Ebay, they just keep relisting their junk and ripping off their buyers. They're some of the worst crooks on Ebay but because they steal in increments of 15 or 20 dollars at a time they seem to fly right under Ebay's radar. Unlike some sellers who may not know they're buying fakes for resale, these sellers know it very well and just don't give a darn.

I've got a list in front of me that I printed yesterday which shows coach sellers that are thought to be legitimate sellers on ebay, but only an opinion. It's under BUYING COACH ON EBAY and ihatefakecoachbags. I've been looking at so many pages online the past couple of days that I don't know where I'm seeing this stuff or how I actually got to it to begin with!
Is anyone familiar w/ this page/list or comments on these sellers?

It's a good list but it's a little out of date. I don't think it's been updated in a while. There was a post at the Shoes and Purses board a while back that listed a few favorite trusted sellers - BTW, ignore the seller who made post #8, he's one of the LEAST-trusted sellers on Ebay and also sells under the ids !hot!, hiedi_ho, daisy-kj and bonnie.cashin.

I also just bought some accessories from " horseblock " and she sells genuine items.

Can y'all PLEASE help me with this...I won the bag on Ebay, but am still not sure it is authentic. The guy SAID: "I do not have any other pics right now. It was purchased at a Coach in Connecticut. it is Authentic".
Should I take his word or would it not be worth the risk?

I never take a seller's word on anything unless I trust them completely, and I'd never buy a used bag with only one really bad picture. And EVERY seller says their items are authentic, including all the crooks who sell fakes. This is Ebay we're talking about. Trust no one.

There are always lots of duffles for sale on Ebay - you don't even know which style number this one is. Wait for one with good photos and information. If sellers wants your business they should be ready to put a little bit of effort into earning it.

Edited to add:
Sorry, I just noticed you said you'd already won it. Let's hope you're one of the lucky ones.

I would not take his word.

I always ask a zillion questions before bidding and make sure I get more pictures, detailed pictures and the serial number.

His auction sucks IMO.

I really hope it is authentic since you already won it!!

Next time, come here first!

this is not a great pic

there were some old coach bags made in costa rica, so it could still be real, but without a photo, its really hard to tell
