The serial number matches the drilldown, which is here:

The C's line up well, too. My only question is whether or not that bag was made with metallic leather because the leather in your photos looks metallic (unless it just looks that way in the photos).

it is metallic, that was the main thing that made me question too. I love it, but I'm not sure if it ever came in metallic. anyone know? thanks!!!

court, I just did a quick look on eBay and there are several metallic bags like the one you are questioning and they all look good to me:

After seeing those listed on eBay, I am thinking this bag definitely came in metallic leather.

ya know, along with an OBVIOUSLY fake Tod's i handed the bag off to my boss, who could care less about fake vs real. i am pretty sure i'm bringing the bag back home tonight to do some examining, but the tag is ridiculously fake, no?

one flat piece of leather with coach stamped into both sides.... eerm

The hangtag definitely sounds strange but I wouldn't want to say anything one way or the other without seeing photos, you know?

I'm a Coach newbie, certainly not an expert by any means but I thought I'd add my 2 cents here. I have a classic leather bag which I got from ebay recently and I'm inclined to believe that it is real since the creed and everything is correct and most of all-the leather is buttery soft and honestly, what knock-off would have nice leather like that? I do think this bag was probably not recently manufactured though based on the serial number.
At any rate-the coach hangtag on this bag is relatively flat (as compared to the ones that have now) and it is also stamped on both sides.

Of course, there is always the chance that the hangtag on my bag is fake while the bag is authentic but I just thought I'd throw the info out there if it can be of any help. Maybe someone with more extensive coach knowledge can help more.

Earlier today I won a red tote #110103301493 that I had questioned here a couple of days ago. (NOT blaming any comments that came from the forum!! We need you all!) Fortunately, I have not paid yet, due to the fact I have emailed about insurance, and not heard back. I'm not sure what to do next..........................?????

I just got a second chance offer on the same bag that I won saying the original winner wasn't able to fulfill obligations for some reason. I'm the real winner:nuts:!

Do you think they're sending this out to the others that bid and sent to me by mistake? Are there that many fakes they're selling??

I read the info on "ihatecounterfeitbags.info/iwonafake-whatnow", but from what I understand, that's if you've already paid.

PLEASE ADVISE and HELP! I don't want to pay for this if it's a fake bag, but I hate the thought of having any negative feedback posted to me. Thanks so much :)

a second chance offer is just that...an offer. You can ignore it if you do not want said item. You are not the "real" winner...you are the "runner up"...and since the winner cannot fulfill their duty to pay..you are given the OPTION of buying the product at the price you bid highest for. You are under no contract to buy...you can ignore it...you cannot receive feedback unless you accept the offer (ie - if you ignore it, you won't get a negative feedback)

if you are asking about item 110103301493...
kinda hard to tell if this is a fake or not not good closeup of the creed for one. However the little pull thingie on the inner zipper could indicate a factory bag (I've noticed that some 'made for factory' bags have that kind of pull chain, instead of a leather pull)

no,no,no I AM the real winner!!! Tehy're waiting payment from my original win and still sent this second offer! That's why I'm trying to figure it out.

I've had regular second offers before on other items, if multiples of skin care items available, books, ect.

But this is a second offer on my own win !!!!!!!!!!!

What should I do????????????
