I have absolutely NO DOUBT that absolutelybetterpursedeals is the former botticelli4grace.

I also have no doubt she's not 72 and is simply attempting to mask her identity with false autobigraphical information.

She's still selling real estate in Cincinnati, Ohio and on the newer absolutelybetterpursedeals ID, she resold some of the same fakes that were previously reported after being listed by botticelli4grace and removed by ebay.

I have some info on absolutelybetterpursedeals..AND unless she was lying to me,(I wouldn't doubt it) she told me her granddaughter shoots the pics & helps her list, because her arthritis etc etc...so those could be her GDs hands?.
The shiny bags? DEFINITELY SHOEPOLISH! BEWARE!
I purchased a daypack from her,a couple months ago with a gazillion layers of shoepolish on it. She said she didn't notice. She gave me a 50% refund. I kept the bag to rehab.After I removed the polish with acetone & probably 5 baths , I noticed the shoepolish was hiding flaws in the piping
(OF COURSE)! I've been working on that bag for 3 weeks.
If she is Botticelli that would explain a lot...GEEZ LOUISE!!!
Anyway, I'm not buying any bags from her anymore-She says her eyesight is bad??,..Gives me all these old lady complaints..I don't buy it. You don't need to SEE Shoepolish, the minute I unpacked the bag I FELT it, not to mention it was all over my hands. My 2 cents..

For anyone not familiar with the history of that seller BOTTICELLI4GRACE, here's one of the discussions at Ebay's Shoes & Purses Forum Archive. A few of the photos of the fake Coaches can also be found by Googling the seller's name and selecting "Images", and I think there's a series of posts here at tPF too, just in case anyone is wondering why that seller is on our permanent Shyte List in addition to using bag "lots" to hide fake Coaches, and then refusing to refund the buyer AND to threaten them with legal action if they file a complaint with Ebay -

And here's what the buyer posted about another one of the seller's responses:
""What bothers me is that she says she only has to sell me one authentic Coach in the lot (which she did) .. the rest fall under "other bags." That's quite a play on words and in my opinion, deceiving the public. I just can't believe this is acceptable..."
So the seller basically admits that almost all the "Coaches" were fakes AND that she knew it, and that it's ok to sell half a dozen counterfeit Coaches as long as at least one is genuine.

I LOVE this blurb on her Tradesy site - "... Carrying a FAKE depreciates all our saving and hard work for the purse of our dreams! I want to make your dream affordable! "One women's trash is another woman's treasure". Yep but SHE'S the one who's sold trash and collected treasure. I don't think that's what that saying is supposed to mean.

It looks like a genuine Basic Bag, style 9455. It was called a Zippered Clutch earlier in its history, but I don't know if it was ever a Bonnie Cashin design. This particular one wasn't made until well after Bonnie Cashin ended her association with Coach, probably from the early to mid-1980s, so Cashin's name probably shouldn't be used in the description.

I'm concerned about the overly shiny finish on the leather. That's NOT normal on vintage bags and could mean the bag has been over-treated with conditioners or even with something containing some kind of coloring agent.

Wait for more opinions on the finish and on any Cashin connection.


ETA - there's also a Station Bag listed that I don't think is genuine.

It looks like the Coach Madison but there is no back zippered pocket and the inside looks different then most Coach Madison. Can anyone tell me if it is real. I have 72 hours to challenge the buy. The creed with the 1996 date code and leather description is the creed that's in the fake red signature demi bag.

It looks like a multi function case but we need more pictures. Please add pics of the back and the inside.

If you click the paperclip at the top of the reply box, it lets you choose several pictures to add. After finding the first, go to the second "browse" link. Once you've found all the pictures, then click "upload."

Does any one know of some one that authenticates for free? I just lost my gal that did this for me and am now with out anyone to help me to be sure I only sell authentic on line. I just had a bag tossed off of where I listed it and I had researched the coach bag prior to listing and thought it was authentic or I never would of posted it. So, I am not so good at doing this my self. I would never intentionally sell a fake bag and try to push it off as real!!!!!!!!!!! Is this the right spot to ask this?

We authenticate for free. You can't post a link to your listing but you can post pictures before you list it here. Read the first post in this thread to see what information we need.
