Item: Coach Candace listed as "Coach Handbag - Cream Colour"

Listing number: #252107552518

Seller: startnow2012

Link: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Coach-Ha...ovgbrJAWXkLKC7oZA450A%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

Comments: I only own one coach bag I bought from the coach store so am new to this and recently picked this one up on eBay. My concern is that the stitching is not as immaculate in comparison to my bag.. Also not sure what the bag is supposed to smell like but the leather smells of chemicals and makes my head spin?

Addition to the pictures one eBay, these are my pictures:

^ Especially here, the stitching seems wonky?

I can't put my finger on it but I'm not totally comfortable with that bag.

That stitching is a mess, the color is one I can't find anywhere and nearly every *1380 prefix is for a MFF bag. I found a couple of F1380 bags in different styles but not a single other bag of your style with your prefix.

Please wait for other opinions. THey might be able to see something I'm not seeing.

Hi, I am a first-time poster and first-time Coach buyer. This purse is just what I am looking for but I have no idea if it is authentic. Any help would be appreciated!

Item: Coach Ashley Satchel
Listing: 6142468
Seller: Mandy J

I have also read mixed reviews about buying from Tradesy. Any advice on that would be much appreciated too!

Thanks, I can't get over how strange it smells either. Might get someone who knows about leather to look at the material.

Another thing.. is there a gap between Vietnam?

I have an F1380 - F23903. Obviously it's Made for Factory, but the Made in Vietnam tag is different.(mine was bought right from the FOS).

My bag's white tag says
MADE IN VIETNAM (with a dot right after Vietnam, one word)
and not quite centered below that
VIET NAM

Again, that's a MFF tag, I don't know if the FP tags are different. Mine also has a tiny accent mark above the E in the second Viet Nam, just like the bag being questioned. The creeds and serial numbers look identical except for the lack of any space on either side of the center dash, possibly because the MFF "F" digit takes up what would be the extra space in that position in the full-price bag's serial. Creed patch has 16 stitches on the sides, 19 on the top & bottom.

Hello! I hope wherever you are, you are having a good day! Vintage Coach always helps me. :smile1: If one of the wonderful authenticators could take a look at the two Baxters below, I would really appreciate it.

Comments: Creed below. Seller says s/he thinks it is an ink stain in the upper left corner (covered by the strap in the first picture).

Whateve (and any other rehabbers reading this thread) - could you comment on the condition of the bag? If the stain on the first bag is ink, I know it won't come out. The second bag looks a bit dry to me. I'm wondering if a bath and condition would perk up and even out the color on either of the bags.

Thanks again for all of your help! The bag I buy (hopefully soon) will be to celebrate a professional accomplishment, so that makes me doubly excited! :D

Both are genuine. Neither was ever called a Speedy and neither one has ANY connection to Bonnie Cashin - the Baxter wasn't even introduced until 18 years AFTER Cashin stopped designing for Coach.

Wait for Whateve to comment on rehabbing.

If you do business with this seller, you might want to give her a heads up. A seller who has this many Coach items should know or be made aware that in order to prove authenticity, her listings need to include pictures of the creeds of the bags she sells.
