Hello! I hope wherever you are, you are having a good day! Vintage Coach always helps me. :smile1: If one of the wonderful authenticators could take a look at the two Baxters below, I would really appreciate it.

Comments: Creed below. Seller says s/he thinks it is an ink stain in the upper left corner (covered by the strap in the first picture).

Whateve (and any other rehabbers reading this thread) - could you comment on the condition of the bag? If the stain on the first bag is ink, I know it won't come out. The second bag looks a bit dry to me. I'm wondering if a bath and condition would perk up and even out the color on either of the bags.

Thanks again for all of your help! The bag I buy (hopefully soon) will be to celebrate a professional accomplishment, so that makes me doubly excited! :D
I see what looks like a line of ink on the first one in the second picture near the middle. There are a few faint vertical lines on the second one visible in the first picture that might be ink. The black dots on that bag might be mold. The bag looks unnaturally shiny. The edges of the piping are rough. I don't know what causes this as I had a bag in nearly perfect condition that looked like that. I can't remember what I did to fix it, probably treated the edge with edgekote, paint or leather cement. I wonder why the pictures weren't taken on the same background.

I don't think the stains on either bag will come out with a bath and conditioning.

Hello everyone. New here. I decided to take a risk to buy a purse in a hurry because I need it for a Bday gift. If it's real, it'd make my friend really happy. If not, then I'll just have to talk to the seller to return or report it. Anyways, the good that may come from the first scenario outweighs the inconvenience of the second. Her bday is next week, so I'd like to get some help authenticating this bag.

Listing number: 131605501128
Seller: brenditasboutique

Comments: Does it look too new for a vintage bag? I read a lot of Coach bag guides to try to pick out details that might be fake, but since I'm new to Coach bags in general, I'm just not sure. I can post more pictures when it arrives at the end of this week if needed.

It looks fine. It's not a Penny or a Dinky. It's a pocket purse.

Thanks a lot! This is the first designer bag I have purchased from Ebay-- if all turns out well, I'm thinking of looking for more vintage Coach bags for myself. Finding this forum has played a big role in helping me get over my fear of buying second-hand purses.
You're welcome! I didn't think I would be able to use anything that was second-hand either but now that I know how to clean them, it doesn't bother me. I still can't buy used shoes though.

Hi everyone!

I'm fairly sure it's authentic, but would like confirmation,
and I'm wondering if anyone has an idea of what this actually is?
Measures 7" x 4" , it's a pvc material and has snaps on both sides.
Thank yoU!:smile1:

Is this authentic? Was this bag repaired or would Coach have allowed that stitching on the straps to get by its inspectors?

Pucker on the side?

TIA.
Was this one missed or should I assume it can't be authenticated? Sorry for the bump and thanks.

There's nothing there that would make me think it wasn't genuine except for the strap, and I don't have any real experience with pre-serial number bags to know what Coach would let slide or what would be culled out by QC. Whateve gets much deeper into vintage than I do.

Thanks. I was also concerned about the pucker on the side but never considered that the strap might have been switched out.

I'll wait for Whateve to see what she says.

Hi! I am new to posting so please forgive / correct me if I don't do this properly! Can anyone help authenticate this before I bid?
