really...where?
Actually we're a couple of hours away from you in Gulfport. But I've already scouted out your area; the allure of gorgeous bags for 5.00 is too great to worry about a couple of hours drive. I don't know if you remember but last year I drove down there when my tummy wasn't so good and I spent a lo-o-o-ng time in the local Bells to be close to a toilet! Aah those GW's were so close but so far away. Hopefully we'll meet over the $2.00 bin.

Dimensions: 11" L 7" H(at middle seam)
As you can tell from the photos the creed is worn down and the number is unintelligible. Any info appreciated.

I don't know if I can recall any K4F prefixes and can't find any others and the font seems different than I've seen before. (Additionally, she states it's from 1997 but the creed indicates 1994.) I don't think the style was out in 1994.

Authentic?

It's fake. You can see in the catalog she posted, it was new in 1997. Even if it had been made in 1994, it would most likely not have been made in the F plant, and if it was, it would not have had that format or font. I have a couple of 1994 F plant creeds in my files. I believe the F plant was used for a short period of time to make business items. It had a unique font that looked like this. Also, you can see, as in most 1994 creeds, it still has the old creed format. I think the shape of the bag is slightly wrong as well.

I think it is probably okay. You might be able to read the number by rubbing it with eye shadow. It looks like it starts with a D, then it is either 6, 8 or 9, then D. The number after the dash should be 9976. I think I can see the first 9 and the 6 at the end. The strap has been cut. I can't say 100% it is authentic without being able to read the creed, but if authentic it is an Anderson Zip 9976.

It's authentic and 8017 is the correct style number. There was a matching signature version of the same item which was 8013.

Thanks, BeenBurned!

What are you going to use it for? I saw one with a butterfly applique that I passed up because I couldn't figure out what it was good for.

I know this is a little silly (yet stylish), but it's a perfect fit for a fold-up, multi-tool pair of pliers plus a swiss army knife I found in my late DH's tools. I'll keep them in the console of my car for emergencies :)

Cool...and congrats! PM me if you're headed to my neighborhood :)

Thank you. I was fairly sure it's fake but wanted to confirm. I did see the catalog page but I couldn't tell from the picture what year the catalog was from.

She also has/had 2 other 9027 bags in different colors (mahogany and red) in her current and completed listings. I suspect those authentic bags would have felt different from the green one.

For the amount of Coach items that jaxjen04 sells, she should have a better knowledge (at the very least) on how to interpret serial numbers.
