Thanks Hyacinth. I figured it was pretty small considering how close together the metal feet on the bottom of the bag are. It looks to be in exceptional condition. Would this be from the early 90's?

It would be from 1992 or 1993.

Genuine, it's a Soho Waverly Bag, style number 4133 from around 1993.



Check the Rehab and Rescue thread in the Coach Clubhouse section of the main Coach forum for information on caring for the early Soho/Lightweight styles. After you get it, if you find any problem areas you can post there and describe them along with photos and they should be able to give you advice on how to deal with them.

Hi ladies, could one of you authenticate this odd piece for me?

It looks like a penny crossbody at first glance, but when I look inside it has a small kisslock pouch which is actually quite unique! The dimensions are approximately 14" x 8" x 2".

And if it is genuine, could you please also tell me the name and style ID for this bag? Thank you in advance!

Are you SURE about those measurements? The only matching style I can find with an inside kisslock pocket measures about 8 x 4 x 2 inches. The turnlock and strap clips on the bag in your photo look too big in proportion to the bag for the measurements you posted. It doesn't look like it's anywhere close to 14 inches long, and a 14-inch bag shouldn't have such a thin strap.

Did you measure it yourself, or are those someone else's measurements?

Thanks. I think that bag is a LOT smaller than the measurements she gave you. The ONLY style that matches it is the 9385 Shoulder Purse from the middle 1980s.

Look at the photos. If that bag was really 8 inches high, the strap clip just by itself would be at least 4 inches long, and if the purse was 14 inches long the turnlock would be almost 2 inches wide.

Good Afternoon Ladies
I picked this up over the weekend at an estate sale. it is a burgundy color more than a maroon I think.
I am pretty sure there is no problem but I still need to hear it from the pros
I have never seen this style before so just checking. any clue to name also?
size is about 9w x 7h x 2d and the strap is 48" long

I will be checking in with Whateve also for rehab help with this color
