It's a genuine Saddle Pouch Standard, style number 9590 and probably from the early to mid-1980s. The color looks like Burgundy in the photos.

It looks fine. It's probably a standard saddle pouch 9590 from the 80s. Beautiful color! I would rehab it the normal way. It looks like you have a bit of verdigris so I would work on that first.

Could someone please authenticate this Coach accessory?
From a local thrift store...
Approx. 2"w x 5"h x 1"d. Strap 4" to buckles.
I'm guessing it's an early cell phone case...my iPhone 6 plus certainly won't fit...:(
The Made in China tag was nearly impossible to shoot...and there's an outlet bullseye on the leather above it...barely visible.
There's a black one on ebay with S/N 8017...does that sound right?
Any info is always appreciated...thanks in advance!

It's authentic and 8017 is the correct style number. There was a matching signature version of the same item which was 8013.

What are you going to use it for? I saw one with a butterfly applique that I passed up because I couldn't figure out what it was good for.
