Now I am stumped. My other thrift store bag did indeed have a little white tag deep in the pocket. I've turned this one inside out, looked everywhere. There's no addition tag anywhere. The creed has no number. Other similar bags are listed as vintage, some with numbers on the creed, some without. How does one know it's real, or the age, without the creed or the little white tag?
I think this is a crossbody hobo, measuring 8x8 with a very long strap. Without a number, I'm not even sure of that. Can anyone help?

It's authentic. It was made during a different era than when they used the white tags. Smaller bags like this often didn't have creed numbers. It's authentic, probably made 10-15 years ago. It was probably called a swing pack.

Bought this at a thrift store. They believed it to be a tote or diaper bag. The creed has no number and I cannot find any white serial tag. The bottom of the bag is about 13 inches across and the bag is appx 11 inches high. I took a chance because I really need a tote for things. I'm wondering if it's truly Coach or a fake. Thanks.

There should be a small white label buried inside the zipper pocket, lower left corner. Please turn the pocket inside out and post a picture of the label.

I had in my head that NYC creeds were found on older Coach bags and wasn't sure if this was true from belts as well (or if I was misremembering entirely). I know there are some vintage catalogs posted here, so I'll look through those for information as well.

I don't know the answer to your question about belts. I would assume that NYC belts are older but that's a guess.

We need to be able to see the full creed and serial number. The seller will have to prop the bag open and take a picture with an overhead light making the creed legible.

Measurements: 5.5" x 4.5" x 1.5"
Note: I had a hunch that this was a Coach Mini Belt Bag when I bought it, but since the seller said the brand was unknown I decided to just buy it and check it out. Either I’d have a cool but unbranded little leather bag, a fake Coach that I could return, or the real deal at a nice price point. Supplementing the listing photos with some of my own:

Measurements: 6.5" x 5.25" x 3.25"
Note: the code under the creed was nearly impossible to read, so I photographed it from a number of angles to find the best. If you need me to get something still better, let me know, and I’ll do my best!

The tan one has a creed with no numbers and the black one doesn't have any identification other than the made in tag.
