Sorry. I'm not comfortable authenticating that bag as Tabby bags are so "well" faked and closely faked. If another TPF'er has the same Tabby bag, perhaps they might comment.

In fact, just last night I spent considerable time studying a Tabby that was listed on Mercari by sarahgriffithL. Although very close, there were some problems I'd recognized, started to respond with a request for additional pictures but after verifying the problems coupled with problems with the hangtag, I determined it to be fake. ( sarahgriffithL 's fake Tabby IS still listed but the price has been reduced. Why would a seller reduce the price unless she's reading or was contacted and informed that she's selling a fake?

Bought this at a thrift store. They believed it to be a tote or diaper bag. The creed has no number and I cannot find any white serial tag. The bottom of the bag is about 13 inches across and the bag is appx 11 inches high. I took a chance because I really need a tote for things. I'm wondering if it's truly Coach or a fake. Thanks.

There should be a small white label buried inside the zipper pocket, lower left corner. Please turn the pocket inside out and post a picture of the label.

I can't see all the numbers but most of them. When it is a unique serial number, I don't need to see all of them in order to authenticate. It's more important to see the shape (font) of the numbers, the "No." and the creed wording.

They were able to send me a few more photos of the hang tag and serial number. Do these help to determine if it’s authentic or not?

I don't see any obvious red flags.

Oh my gosh, you were right. It was really deep in there. I missed it completely!

Now I am stumped. My other thrift store bag did indeed have a little white tag deep in the pocket. I've turned this one inside out, looked everywhere. There's no addition tag anywhere. The creed has no number. Other similar bags are listed as vintage, some with numbers on the creed, some without. How does one know it's real, or the age, without the creed or the little white tag?
I think this is a crossbody hobo, measuring 8x8 with a very long strap. Without a number, I'm not even sure of that. Can anyone help?
