Hi all I picked this up at a Goodwill months ago, and I can’t remember if I had you guys check the authenticity… I suspect it’s a Mayfield since the measurements match the Coach ad I have here are the pictures and the creed. Thanks guys!

The bag is fake.

ETA: Here's a comp showing a creed from a genuine 1994 bag made in the G plant. As far as I can tell, the G plant wasn't even still in operation in 1999 although I have fakes in my records claiming 1999 and 2000 date codes.

Thank you BeenBurned. Looks like it was my turn to be burned. Yesterday as soon as I got your reply I tried to delete the listing. It had already been reported and taken down by eBay hopefully the penalty won’t cost me $. Thanks again.

Ebay is highly secretive about how many chances sellers get and they're also inconsistent. I've seen some sellers suspended after the 2nd or 3rd listing removal while other sellers have had dozens of removals over several years and remain active. I don't get it.

Many sellers buy from yard sales, thrift stores, other sellers and sites, etc., and hope to buy low, flip and sell high. And there's nothing wrong with doing that.

But unless one is expert in the brand/item, I always recommend verifying items that didn't come directly from the design house or department store. (Even then, it's not guaranteed that you'll always get genuine items because dishonest customers have been known to buy an item and return a fake with the receipt.)

I'm sorry someone fooled you.

Both are fine. W is a valid Chinese plant for the bag.

Hello authenticators, would you please authenticate this Coach.

Item: Coach Rambler’s Legacy 9061
Where purchased or how obtained: Tag Sale
Comments: Dimensions are—9”x7”x3”. I posted several photos of the creed because it was difficult to get a good angle of it. The full number looks like: N9C-9061. It looks like the creed is partially worn off but I could glean that it was made in the United States.

Thank you for taking the time to authenticate it.
