Hello authenticators, would you please authenticate this Coach.

Item: Coach Rambler’s Legacy 9061
Where purchased or how obtained: Tag Sale
Comments: Dimensions are—9”x7”x3”. I posted several photos of the creed because it was difficult to get a good angle of it. The full number looks like: N9C-9061. It looks like the creed is partially worn off but I could glean that it was made in the United States.

Thank you for taking the time to authenticate it.

Sorry, but it's fake.

Except for a very few errors from the very early days of the "new" 1994-era serials, "N" was not used by Coach as a month code and would never have been used in 1999. The serial number is seriously off-center compared to the creed stamp, and there's a problem with the turnlock hardware.

You didn't say where the "tag sale" took place, but I hope you can get your money back.

Thanks ever so much.

Ran out to get supplies for doing a Coach inventory (yes, I'm in deep), stopped at Savers, found this. Is this bag genuine? The strap is very questionable. The hardware is both gold/brass and silver. Also there's a typo on the creed (scrtches).

Am I answering my own question?! LOL.

10" wide, 7" tall, 3" deep. No exterior pocket. No slip pocket. One interior zipped pocket.

I can always get my $3.99 back if it doesn't pass.

Get your refund! It's fake.

ETA: Known invalid serial number, mixed gold and silver hardware, strap clips aren't correct for those used by Coach, misspelling(s) on creed, problems with turnlock......

There's more wrong with the bag than right!

Thank you, BeenBurned!

I figured. But for $3.99 and a decent return policy, it seemed worth a very slim chance.

I didn't see the misspelling till I got in the car and took the photos.

I feel sorry for the cow that died for this mess of a bag.

I was given this bag. Can it be authenticated here? I know little about newer bags. I would guess it’s fake but figured I’d ask here before I toss it. Supposed to be leather but feels like plastic coated. It’s 10.5” x 8” x 2.5”
