Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

A picture is not necessary in this case.

UOJ-7785 is a know fake serial number. Any bag it's on is fake.

If you bought it online, please post a link to the listing and the seller ID. (See post #1 on the first page of this thread for the information we need.

You were also referred to several online Guides, one of which I helped write. You were sent a PM with even more information, check your Messages.

And if you need even more proof, use the Search feature at Ebay and look for the style number in your fake bag, 7785. Enter " Coach 7785 ' in the box. EVERY SINGLE PURSE that comes up in the Search will be a small all-leather Demi exactly like the photo from Coach's website that I posted in the Answer to Authenticity Questions thread.

Once you post a photo of the purse you actually bought, we can probably find a lot more wrong with it than just not being anything like the style number stamped inside and having a set of production codes that Coach never used. If you take the time to read the Salearea Guides that I posted a link to, you'll learn why the serial number is phony no matter WHAT style purse it's in.

And this one...from local Humane Society thrift?
Approx. 8"w x 9"h x 2.5"d. Straps drop 9" to top of bag and about 15" to bottom, if held at an imaginary shoulder line...make sense?
A 2005 Legacy Leather Backpack of some sort #9569?

I really can't see the pattern on the bag because that part of the picture is too dark but I don't see any problems.

There aren't enough pictures to authenticate that bag.

Please ask the seller for a clear picture of the full creed and a small amount of the lining surrounding the creed as well as a picture of any tags/labels from inside the bag's lining and inside pocket.
