The briefcase is probably ok and just has the wrong style number.

I can't be sure about the first Willis with the B plant code, but the second with the J8D- prefix is DEFINITELY fake, and so IS the other listing BeenBurned mentioned.

Do NOT buy from " TROYOUNCE12 " !!!

Thanks BB & Hyacinth. reported the fakes, but I think they are still up.

Hi ladies! When I was a little girl, I had a favorite bag in my mom's bag collection -- it was a navy Coach City 9790 bag. Unfortunately, my mom can no longer has this bag. I would love to find a pre-loved version, but of course, I would like to check the authenticity, as this bag has sentimental value to me. Thank you so much, ladies!

Sorry, this isn't the one to bid on. There are problems with the creed, serial number and apparently the hardware too.

In fact, BOTH of the seller's "City Bags" are fake. Here's the other one:

The B plant MIGHT have used several different stamps in the late 1990s, but I haven't put together a large enough database on that yet. However, the other mistake on the navy City Bag makes me sure this is a fake stamping. Here's the Navy one and a genuine C9B- in a Tan bag for comparison. So far most BUT NOT ALL of the fakes and questionable ones have been City Bags.

@Hyacinth - Thank you so much! You have been so very helpful. I would have been heartbroken, if I had found this out too late. Much appreciated!

Good morning/afternoon/evening all. I have 3 wallets which I would like authenticated. TIA for your wisdom and time.

I'm having a tough time identifying the first one. Is it a compact clutch of some sort? Wayback has information about similar styles but I wasn't able to find this exact one.

While she may be a "top rated seller," I can't and don't recommend crochet4health.

This is another fake she sold and in case the listing poofs, I'll include a couple of pictures:
