The way reporting works on Poshmark is different than on other sites. They ask members if they would like to review reported listings. Those members then see a variety of listings and they can choose yes, it's fake, no, it isn't fake, or I'm not sure. I assume they have to get a preponderance of yeses in order to remove the listing. This whole process takes longer to get something removed than on other sites. By the time a member gets to review these listings, many of the sellers have gotten wise and have changed the listing.
Yes I’m always getting these requests. I don’t feel like it’s my job to police their site so I don’t do it. That annoys me when they ask me to review reported listings. They make all that money and can’t review what’s posted or respond to to reports?

That is poor business practice. They should be held accountable if they are allowing fakes to be sold on their site.

Authenticators, thank you in advance for your time in helping review these bags. I received a bunch of old Coach bags from my neighbor. She’s cleaning out her parents home and her mom had a ton of old bags stashed in closets.

It’s actually a bit of a scary box to sort through but I told her I’d take them all since she was about to donate them to goodwill.

I want to check authenticity.

I’m just going to post 4 for now. (If I can do them all in one post). If not please excuse my oversight on that.

I didn’t look up the names - I kind of guessed.

1. Legacy Rambler
2. Small Flap Bag
3. prairie bag
4. Duffle bag 9085

PM still hasn’t removed MyTenPoint’s listing that I contacted them directly with this morning. When I do report things I don’t usually keep track of timelines but this time I did. Someone actually bought it yesterday then cancelled their purchase so the seller reposted it. I do see your point about them not being responsive now.
That doesn't surprise me a bit! What would surprise me is if they did removed the listing.

These all look fine. Don't mix so many in one request. The pictures are all mixed up.

Nice find! It's authentic.
Hi @BeenBurned, I have decided to try to sell this bag and posted it on my local area Nextdoor app as being from the 60’s / 70’s pre creed. I’ve just had someone who claims to be an authority on Coach bags and willing to provide “credentials” inform me that “The bag was late 90’s like 1999 or early 2000. Coach put out the nickel parts during that time period for the first time. It’s a fine bag. Well made etc. high quality leather but it isn’t 60’s, 70’s or even 80’s“. I am not sure where she’s getting the “nickel parts” from as the buckles are clearly stamped “solid brass”.

I would greatly appreciate you sharing some of your knowledge with me about this bag. I trust you, @Hyacinth, @whateve and everyone else here far more than this person and would like to be well informed before I respond to them. I can provide more photos if you would like.
Thank you!

I see I did not include a photo of the brass buckles in my original request. Just sharing as an FYI since I mentioned it in my request for more detail. I believe this is a crescent bag from the late 60’s early 70’s and based that time frame on a blog post I found by Happymelissa4 (I think that’s right). Thanks again for your time.
