Here is the second bag from the city wide garage sales this past weekend!
Again Thank you for your time!
I don't authenticate newer styles, so you may have to post again in about a week when our other authenticators should be back from vacation. You don't need to make a new post, just wait until either @BeenBurned or @whateve are back, then use the REPLY button in your original post and ask for authentication.
Thank you again for your time today! Will do as you said. Have a great night!
It's looks good.

Hello could someone please look at this little keychain
3"L x 1"W x 2"H
I purchased it at a garage sale
Not only have I never seen one with such a huge Coach logo on the front, but the border of the logo isn't right either. It has too many lines. The stitching and binding on the underside of the flap isn't Coach quality either. I don't believe it's genuine.
I'm also 99.99999% positive that it's fake.

Just a quickie - we have high winds and tornado warnings for Chicago's South Side and south suburbs so anyone in the area PLEASE stay alert and be ready to move to shelter.

Also confirmed storm damage in a few near west suburbs.

Stay safe and stay at home.

ETA -
Tornado warnings are expiring but still strong winds and rain, be careful out there.

Still a few warnings in NW Indiana and far SW Michigan from New Buffalo to Sturgis is getting active warnings now. LOTS of red from New Buffalo to Ann Arbor.

I think it's safe for me to go back to Rachel now. Anyone in the Lower Great Lakes area, please keep the Weather Channel on.

Dear Authenticators,
I would love to know your thoughts on this one please:

Item: 9960 white small daypack
Seller and site where listed: Poshmark, jsr9230
Link: https://poshmark.com/listing/Coach-9970-Vintage-White-Leather-Backpack-62a0f6f02a1efff103f79413
Comments: The dreaded M plant! All the details to me look authentic - except the presence of a light coat of edge paint on the strap but I can completely see that being part of the design since it is such a light color. And yet...the M plant code has me wondering.
Thank you so much.

Comments: got this bag with coach tag however the Creed stamp doesn't look to be the vintage Creed stamp. Want to know if this is authentic. Thank you!

There aren't any obvious red flags but I can't read the serial number, it's almost completely in shadow. If you can ask the seller to send or post a clear readable photo of the entire number I can take another look

The seller was able to share an image. Thanks again for looking!

Edit: The seller shared that the previously attached picture was of another bag that they're trying to solve. Here's the correct one. :)

It may be a Coach but it's not a VINTAGE Coach.

It's SO important for frequent Coach buyers to learn to read the information in serial number codes. How to decode a genuine Coach serial has been published in the six Salearea Guides that had been posted at Ebay's Guides section since 2012 and here at tPF since 2018. Since you're new here you probably didn't know that there was a place to go for accurate info on Coaches, but when you have some extra time you may want to read them. They're complicated but worth a read.

The bag you're asking about shows right in the serial number prefix that it was made in May 2013 so it's a remake, maybe even a remake of a remake. It looks genuine but there's a good chance it won't feel or last like an actual 20-plus years old vintage bag made before Coach started cutting corners on leather quality and construction during and after the period when they moved production to China at the start of the Millenium.

Buying highly-faked styles or brands from Facebook sellers is probably not a good idea.

Thank you, but I think the seller sent the wrong photo. The bag in the listing may be a genuine Pocket Purse, but that style is number 9755. The style number of the bag you were sent is 9978 according to the style section of the serial number but that number belongs only to a Small Sidepack, not a Pocket Purse. This (the smaller bag) is what a style 9978 should look like:

It's probably not a good idea buying a highly faked brand if there's a question about whether you're seeing a creed and serial photo of the bag you actually want to buy. I can't authenticate it with the photo you were sent, sorry.

Thanks for taking a look! The seller said they sent the wrong picture and sent me an updated one.
