It's good, Daypack made in 1996. The white "FS" stamp was used by Coach to indicate "Final Sale".

It's genuine but I don't have the name in my files. Coach often called them Multi Totes and it was made in 2002

Thank you so much! Elsewhere I saw it referred to as a “multi tote” so that makes sense.

With your knowledge, do you know if there were any other tote bags made Pre-2000? I’m having a hard time finding any if so. Any advise on style number/name of a tote style leather Coach bag is much appreciated!

Poshmark does have a button to report. It's on the right under the main large picture in each listing. There's a flag and "report" but that they actually do anything is doubtful.

Thank you so much for your help and encouragement. It looks like the seller had other fake coach bags that sold in the last two days.
I escalated my case with PayPal. I got this email this morning. @Hyacinth

Can an Authenticator please take a look? This looks dodgy to me. The logo on the front appears too low to me and the creed looks a little wonky (The H looks bad). Also, no number — does every recent Coach have a number?

THANK YOU
Ask the seller to feel around inside the bag to find a small white label with 2 rows of production information, letters and numbers. It may be buried inside a pocket and might be necessary to turn the pocket inside out to find and photograph it.

PLease post a picture of the white tag.

For returns filed through PP, you have to pay for return shipping. Had you been able to return through PM, I believe they send the shipping label.

But even if you have to pay for the label without reimbursement, it's worth it to get the purchase price back.

Be sure to ship with tracking. You need that as proof of delivery to the seller's zip code.

The bag is authentic.

All are fine.

In the future, please include the actual URL links to the listings (starts with http: at the top of the listing page). It's not necessary to post the pictures to your request when we can look at the listing with the pictures.

Awesome! Thank you, and sorry about that I use the app and it won’t give me the url but next time I’ll log in through google instead.

I am not sure if my question should be for the authenticators or the rehab group. I believe I found a Coach bag made in the 1970s which has extensive tarnish on the brass. I don’t understand why the seller would clean and condition a purse but not remove the tarnish on the brass since the hardware should be solid brass, if it were truly made in the 1970s. What am I missing?

It's authentic. For some reason, the rings for the zipper pull weren't made of solid brass, maybe because solid brass is too soft for the stress? I've had several that were a dull silver, like whatever base metal was used. Some sellers don't shine the brass as some buyers prefer it to look vintage.

There are lots of tote bags made prior to 2000. You should ask on the vintage chat thread.

Actually, PayPal gave their address to send it to. They have a returns department. They want the item with everything that came with it. I uploaded the PDF and the tracking number of the label I printed. I had to pay for it but at this point I’m doing it because I know I’m right. Even if the end balance is $2, I don’t care, it’s the principle. I’m right, they are wrong and They need to know that.

The strap isn't the original one from what I can see. The Bag looks like it has brass-color hardware for the turnlock and the rings holding the top handle but the strap clips, buckle and the D-rings on the dowel that the strap attaches to are silver color. Look VERY closely at the photos, the colors don't look the same. I need to check a few more things but even if it turns out to be genuine it's not in original condition.

ETA - I think the Willis is genuine but the hardware somehow LOOKS different. Maybe it's just a trick of the lighting, or maybe the strap hardware was cleaned or polished but the bag's attached hardware wasn't. You may have to wait until you get it in front of you to be sure, but please compare the hardware colors when you receive the bag. It IS a genuine Willis bag made in 2005, I'm just not sure if that strap is the one that came with that bag.

Or maybe I'm just over-thinking this, it wouldn't be the first time. More opinions are welcome.
Thank you so much for such a considered evaluation. I really appreciate it.
