Hello authenticators, I'd appreciate if you could look at the item below:

Item: vintage coach ranch bag
Listing number: I'm not sure if Mercari has listing numbers
Seller and site where listed: SweetDeal22 on Mercari
Link: https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m26217975063/?ref=search_results
Comments: The seller has stated the bag is custom dyed, but I'm wondering if it's possible to make sure the base bag is authentic.

Thank you very much!

The base bag is authentic, from the late 1980s or early 1990s. But I'm wondering what kind of dyeing or painting was done, and why? I don't see anything that I'd call custom dyeing but I'm not an expert on that subject. For $140.00 including shipping, I'd be asking a few more questions.

It's good, Daypack made in 1996. The white "FS" stamp was used by Coach to indicate "Final Sale".
Thinking about buying this Coach bag, can anyone advise on its authenticity?

It's genuine but I don't have the name in my files. Coach often called them Multi Totes and it was made in 2002

Hey guys, it this a genuine Coach? I might bid on it but I got burned on a Taft fake the other day so I wanna be sure.
Seller: goodwill of middle Georgia.
Description:
Brown leather crossbody bag
Approximate Measurements (inches):
7 x 2 x 6 with 23.5 inch handle

Thanks guys!

Don't buy it, it's fake.

The serial number font isn't right, and the REAL style 9062 is called a Mambo Hobo and looks like this, Click on the thumbnail to enlarge:

The strap isn't the original one from what I can see. The Bag looks like it has brass-color hardware for the turnlock and the rings holding the top handle but the strap clips, buckle and the D-rings on the dowel that the strap attaches to are silver color. Look VERY closely at the photos, the colors don't look the same. I need to check a few more things but even if it turns out to be genuine it's not in original condition.

ETA - I think the Willis is genuine but the hardware somehow LOOKS different. Maybe it's just a trick of the lighting, or maybe the strap hardware was cleaned or polished but the bag's attached hardware wasn't. You may have to wait until you get it in front of you to be sure, but please compare the hardware colors when you receive the bag. It IS a genuine Willis bag made in 2005, I'm just not sure if that strap is the one that came with that bag.

Or maybe I'm just over-thinking this, it wouldn't be the first time. More opinions are welcome.
