Thank you, Whateve! I'm SO excited for this one! I'm buying for my own personal collection and use and the intent was to use but truth be told I haven't decided yet since it's such a gem! Now I'm thinking of buying a second for use and keeping this one on my display shelf in all its glory, lol! No tags cut since 1994 (if I'm not mistaken)?!? I'm so curious about who had it and how it ended up at Goodwill.
I hate to think it but probably someone died and her things were donated.

Hi.
Would someone assist me to identify the name of this coach bag, and its authenticity?
I would appreciate if you can tell me more like the name of the bag, the estimated year and perhaps where was it made (since was not stated)

A friend of mine is considering to sell them to me

NOTE TO EVERYONE! Please include seller ID in every request.

Poshmark seller
luxbinfound

@coachowe
Please don't accept this fake as a "lesson" and don't accept losing your money! Open a dispute and if necessary, fight for the refund.

It won't hurt to post on the listing that the item is fake. Let others know that luxbinfound sells fakes.

I want to make a small clarification of @Hyacinth's comment saying, "That's one very good reason why one of our authenticators won't even look at their listings presented here for authentication."

It is true that I don't authenticate, recommend, promote or do business with Poshmark but I do look at listings that are posted for authentication.

The reason I check listings is because I find that many sellers are mixers, listing a combination of fakes among other listings of authentic items.

The problem is that mixers are more dangerous than sellers (and sites) consisting of all fakes. There's a sense of trust in sellers who have an item deemed authentic and buyers assume it's an honest seller.

Like so many others, luxbinfound has other fakes as well as the one that coachowe purchased.

Wow. Thank you so much! I’m going to do what I can with my cc company. Thank you. Does Poshmark have a “report this item as fake” button?

Sad thought, but I think you're right; it's a very likely possibility. It's one of those life circumstances for a family where many times it's not feasible to spend time sorting through everything or be able to keep too many of the things. I will be taking extra good care of it (as with all of my vintage bags). I think I'll need to find another Patricia for actual wear and allow this one to be displayed; it'd feel like a crime to cut that tag.

Poshmark does have a button to report. It's on the right under the main large picture in each listing. There's a flag and "report" but that they actually do anything is doubtful.

It's authentic and was made in 2012. There should be a made in tag sewn into the lining on the inner left side of the bag.

I don't know the official name although I found a Japanese listing that called it a men's business bag.

Hi Authenticators!
I'm at my local GW and was wondering if you could please check this bag for me? I never owned a Dominican Republic Coach before so I can't compare but I'd like to say this is one of the softest leather bags I've ever felt. Wow. Thank you always for your time and expertise!

FOR ITEMS NOT LISTED ONLINE:

It's authentic, made in Feb. 2000. They scrambled the serial prefix by mistake.

There's one style in a 10-year old page of Mens business bags that might fit, it's the only one I've found with those tapered front leather pieces, but this is just a guess. There aren't any more details on the page. From a February 2013 website page, that particular example in the post was made in August 2012. I believe the color was called Fawn. Plant code 73 indicates Vietnam.

Hello authenticators, I'd appreciate if you could look at the item below:

Item: vintage coach ranch bag
Listing number: I'm not sure if Mercari has listing numbers
Seller and site where listed: SweetDeal22 on Mercari
Link: https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m26217975063/?ref=search_results
Comments: The seller has stated the bag is custom dyed, but I'm wondering if it's possible to make sure the base bag is authentic.

Thank you very much!

Hi Authenticators

I was hoping you could authenticate this bag for me.

Item: Coach Legacy Zip
Listing number: 403491033727
Seller and site where listed. /wyamileth193. eBay
Link: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/403491033727
Comments: Seller lists as a Janice, but I’m pretty sure it’s a Zip

Thank you all for your time and expertise.
You're correct about the style. It's an authentic legacy zip made in 2001.
