Comments: seeking help to authenticate the bag as I notice the creed is different from those selling on the website. So, I have my doubt. thanks.
I can't see the creed photo but between the seller claiming that "it was a gift" and absolving herself of blame if it turns out to be fake, and the fact that the seller is in the Philippines which is one of the Top Three current sources for Coach fakes, I would STRONGLY advise you NOT to buy it. The second of the first 3 photos is stolen from another website, and the third photo doesn't even look like the second one, the leather tabs for the turnlocks are different and the turnlocks are in different positions.
Please always include seller's ID:

@mykindofclothing

I'm 99.999% sure that bag is authentic.

There's a problem and contradiction between the style of bag and the made in tag.

As @Hyacinth mentioned, there are many, MANY fakes coming from the Philippines but even more caution is necessary when dealing with the PI because the fakes are extremely close.

ETA: 100% positive that the bag is fake.

thanks for the advice Hyacinth and for the info. I'm not aware that Philippines is the top 3 sources for fakes Coach.

If there is anyone willing to take a look at this Poshmark listing, I’d appreciate your time. Creed looks “off” to me and no letter for manny date.

Coach didn't start using production, date, year plant and style number codes in their serial numbers until 1994. Please read the six Salearea Guides for more information.

It's genuine, one of the three Cabin Bag styles but I can't tell which without measurements. It would have been made between around 1990 and 1993.

Sorry to give you unpleasant news if that's your home country, but it IS a major source of fakes and has been for at least the last five years, thanks no doubt to their Chinese neighbors who found it an excellent source to both manufacture (Coach actually does have a plant there too) and import, both legally and illegally, all sorts of counterfeit merchandise thanks to its more than a thousand miles of island coastlines that Chinese smugglers have learned to use to their advantage.

Whenever possible, we urge residents of the P.I. to avoid buying from local small sellers, and to always use a major international credit card or a system like Paypal that offers an effective refund process is someone buys a fake. NEVER pay by cash or bank transfer.

sorry not aware that we are not allow to discuss value and thanks for the advice.

The Rules for this thread are in the first 2 posts by the Managers on this page:

One of them says "Please note that comments on price and condition are NOT permitted." That includes stating or speculating on the market value of any item. Values can and do change with the wind, especially current prices which have seen major ups and downs just in the last year. If someone wants to buy something that has a reasonable change of increasing in price, real estate would be a safer option. Handbags except perhaps for the massively expensive brands and styles, are NOT good investments. And speculating what the market will be 6 or 12 months from now is useless, we've already seen how prices can be manipulated or inflated just by posts in public or private discussion groups like this one and others.

Comments: Looking at some of the catalogs, the exterior of the bag looks like it might be a hamptons hobo 7783, but the creed shown has 6155. Assistance with authenticating this item is greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

It's a genuine 6155 Vachetta Small Hobo. It's not even the same shape as the 7783 Hamptons Leather Hobo, the corners in the photos are different. Just because one style looks like another doesn't mean that's what it is. The same holds if two styles have similar names.

Lol, the catalogue pic of 7783 was only a partial, so yes the full pic you have definitely shows they are different! I couldn't find any other posts with the 6155 style in it or internet searches. Thank you so much, Hyacinth!
