Item: Vintage Coach Leather Regina (no.9983) Crossbody bag with top handle
Listing number: None
Seller and site where listed: Poshmark seller is mvannelli
Link: https://poshmark.com/listing/Vintag...-bag-with-top-handle-61d32e8143895f393bb7cf18
Comments: Suspicious of the seam tear, so I was looking for better eyes on it.
It's fake.
One of the reasons why we require seller IDs for requests is so you (and we) can search to see if there's a history. And this seller, mvannelli does have a history.

ETA: This is a recently sold item from mvannelli. A seller with as many Coaches as she has should have recognized this as fake. (And based on the price, maybe she did!)

Good evening awesome authenticators. Could you please check this Ebay bag? I believe the prefix is fake. Thanks so much for all you do! :flowers:

You're right, it's fake.
I missed the listing whateve authenticated but cysspace1226 is another seller with a history. In fact, just a few days ago, she had this fake. (Creed is hard to read but it describes a leather bag.)

Hello all,
Hoping someone can authenticate this bag.
I'm not sure if I followed the right format but feel free to ask further info.
Thanks in advance.
Sorry. You didn't do anything wrong. I meant to come back after researching and forgot to do so.

The bag looks good to me.

LOL! Usually, there's aren't that many "sellers with a history" so close together!

And just yesterday, rainbowgardenshop had a bag (no longer listed) with serial number JHM-9076.

Dear authenticators

Saw this on Poshmark and have always wonder about this kind of creed where it’s 4 digit alphabet code.
Always thought it is fake but this bag has a price tag attach so thought I inquire with experts.

Seller: Sarah_baline

Hello authenticators,
May I ask for your advice on the authenticity of another bag that I’m interested in?

Style # 4104
Where it’s listed: Mercari Japan
Link: https://jp.mercari.com/item/m23356179932
Seller: peach

Thank you so much in advance!

The creed looked okay to me, but something bothered me about this bag, which I didn’t know what at the point when I posted it here, but now I do.
The top zippers!
Is this fake, or has someone refurbished it??

You really should read the six Salearea Guides posted here at tPF especially the ones about the formats and histories of Coach creeds and serial numbers. The first 13 posts are basically background information and most of the links are non-functioning. Instead of us answering the same questions for the 958th time, we prefer that you read and absorb the information so you know where to find it in the future.

The Willis is genuine but not "vintage", it was made in 2005.

Got it. Let me read it once again and try to better absorb the info.
Thank you.

Hi authenticators! Curious about this bag, as i'm on the hunt for this specific style
Item: Coach Nottingham Canterbury cross body
Seller: ployamporn
Site listed: Poshmark

Thank you for your time.

Sorry about that. Sometimes posts get missed. The authenticators here have other responsibilities and problems to deal with in their own lives and sometimes can only be here an hour or two each day if that. We're VOLUNTEERS, we don't get paid or reimbursed in any way, shape or form for our time and for the personal expenses involved in doing this job.

If a question gets missed, please just use the REPLY button to reply to your own post and bring it to the front. A "BUMP" in capitol or bolded letters at the top of your reply will usually get our attention.

The bag is genuine, from early 1994 so it would have been called a Canterbury. The Nottingham name wasn't used until 1995.

My apologies for the multiple posts…
I think I’ll pass this one, as I wouldn’t want to carry anything that looks like a fake even if it does turn out to be authentic, so please don’t spend your precious time looking at it!
