Hello authenticators,
May I ask for your advice on the authenticity of another bag that I’m interested in?

Style # 4104
Where it’s listed: Mercari Japan
Link: https://jp.mercari.com/item/m23356179932
Seller: peach

Thank you so much in advance!
The creed looked okay to me, but something bothered me about this bag, which I didn’t know what at the point when I posted it here, but now I do.
The top zippers!
Is this fake,
or has someone refurbished it??
My apologies for the multiple posts…
I think I’ll pass this one, as I wouldn’t want to carry anything that looks like a fake even if it does turn out to be authentic, so please don’t spend your precious time looking at it!
Is this the zipper you're referring to? Why do you think it's fake.

I don't see any problems with the bag shown in the listing.

Sorry about that. Sometimes posts get missed. The authenticators here have other responsibilities and problems to deal with in their own lives and sometimes can only be here an hour or two each day if that. We're VOLUNTEERS, we don't get paid or reimbursed in any way, shape or form for our time and for the personal expenses involved in doing this job.

If a question gets missed, please just use the REPLY button to reply to your own post and bring it to the front. A "BUMP" in capitol or bolded letters at the top of your reply will usually get our attention.

The bag is genuine, from early 1994 so it would have been called a Canterbury. The Nottingham name wasn't used until 1995.

Thank you! I totally understand, you all are very generous with your time as is. I'll be sure to follow those steps next time if a post is missed

I found this little cute thing at the local thrift store. Measures about 8.5 inches long by 6.5 inches tall. About 1 inch across the bottom. Strap is about 45 inches. No creed. Smooth black leather. I've seen other bags with the same front coach embossed hardware which opens. On this bag, it's purely nonfunctional and decorative. The bag has a magnetic snap closure. Please and thank you for an opinion on authenticity. I know we shouldn't brag about bargains, but, hey, $4.20. :) :)

It's genuine, some kind of Mini or Crossbody bag from the Kristin line and probably made between 2010 and 2013. I don't have any information on a style number or name. It's near the bottom of this Wayback page but there are no links to a listing.

Thank you! I'm using this cool tool called "google lens" and just now I found a similar bag. 45128. That seller called it a "Kristin Leather Crossbody." :) It's a really nice little bag.

Good detective work, @ConnieinSeattle! Here's a listing for the same style bag:

I can't see any of the listing photos, but the zipper looks identical to one listed on Ebay, 7th photo:

Thank you so much for taking your time to look at it, @BeenBurned, and I’m so glad that I asked!!
Yes, that was the zipper that I was referring to.
I was expecting a heavy metal zipper on all the vintage coaches like the ones that I asked you for your advice the other day, and when I saw the plastic zipper, I got suspicious — definitely more learning to be done here

Thank you so much, @Hyacinth, for finding the picture of the zipper of the same style!!
(I couldn’t find too many of the same style in the first place, let alone a picture of the zipper…)

Hello Ladies,

Please can you find a moment to review this Station Bag:

Where purchased: Depop UK
Seller: Craolao
Link: https://depop.app.link/fdk9VGy7Xmb
Comments: The creed is in an unusual position mid-pocket, not the inner pocket? Additional image attached.

MTIA, stay safe
