Next one, I think will be a great summer bag! If you know the name too that would be awesome! Thanks again!

Genuine, and I like that color combination very much! There's no name for it in my files but I think it's from the Chelsea line although other listings at Ebay list it as a Hamptons, and made in 2006. It's probably a Chelsea or Hamptons Satchel or Carryall. Since everyone else is calling it a Hamptons, let's go along with the majority opinion.

Good morning! I bought this at thrift awhile ago and did my research to make sure it was authentic. But now I'm not so sure. I hardly ever see this bag on auction/sale sites.
In my notes I wrote "Sterling clutch." The creed is very hard to see but the style no. is 9945.

There is a cross body strap too I just didn't photograph it.

Wait for others on an "official" name but there were a couple of listings that called it an envelope clutch:

There's no reason to be concerned just because you haven't found any others, it's completely genuine. Anyone selling one probably wouldn't even know the name, and you hardly ever see them for sale. It IS a Sterling Clutch and was made in 1994, here's Coach's Spring 1994 catalog page.

Thanks so much for the additional information! I love that combo too. Can't wait to get it all cleaned up! She's a beauty!

Thank you Hyacinth! Having the catalog listing is such a nice bonus! It's kind of cool knowing I have a more "rare" piece (which I got for a song). Hope I can get her into really spiffy condition.

The second one is from the same auction....
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-Of-31-Authentic-Vintage-Coach-Handbags-Great-Condition-/221753167358?

It's really huge, about 17" long at the top.
It shows style #4945 on the creed but it actually LOOKS like #4943.
Do you think it was a mix-up in the plant?

THanks as always!!

The creed looks ok. It matches others from that plant and month for Sonoma styles. The B plant Sonoma creed was still using the Made in the United States wording at the bottom months after the standard creed had changed to the newer formatting with the country of manufacture in the body of the creed statement.
I couldn't read if it was 1995 or 1996. My nubuc Sonoma was made in the B plant in July 1996 and it has the newer creed.
