Hi Authenticators!
New to the site. I recently purchased this Coach Field Tote bag from Poshmark and need some help with authenticating. The hardware looks good but the Made in Vietnam tag on the inside seam is a little concerning as I don't see the same tag in my other Coach Field Tote bag that is in the bigger 40 version. I appreciate the help!

Thank you! I read online that the L4L stands for December (L= 12th letter/12th month), 1994, and that final L is the country of manufacture. That site said that D was the letter for the US. Since the creed says it was made in the US, do you know what that second L stands for?
The second L stands for the factory code, not a country code. There can be several factory codes for different factories in the same country. D stood for one factory in the US. L stood for another factory in the US.

The first L doesn't actually stand for December. It stands for November because Coach skipped the letter I since it looked too much like a one.

Be careful which site you use to get your information. Many of those sites have misleading or just plain wrong information.

I am curious about this bag, more on authenticity than to purchase. At your convenience:
Seller - love_the_south
Thank you!

There's nothing right about it.

If the N code was ever used in a US-made bag in 2000, I don't have any record of it.

That green color doesn't appear as a color choice in 2000, the Coach stamp on the front is crooked and in the wrong spot, the stitching is a MESS, and the strap holes are off-center.

That style has been widely faked, there's another fake with a K3H- serial prefix on Ebay right now that's more accurate than this POS.

There are several genuine Mimosa Zip photos posted here at tPF:

If you want ACCURATE information about creeds and serial numbers, read the Salearea Guides. The link in Pinned at the top of any index page here in the Coach Shopping forum. Like Whateve and my Signature under every one of my posts says, most online "guides" aren't worth the electrons they're posted with. DON'T depend on any of them except what's recommended here and actually researched and updated by a tPF member. Namely ME.

Read the first 13 posts for background but don't bother with the links in those first 13, most of them don't work any more. Posts 14 thru the end is where the important information is.

And these two please.

Second - Selller sisternewkirk

Hi Authenticators,

FOR ITEMS NOT LISTED ONLINE:
Item: I believe it is a Laura Signature Tote?
Where purchased or how obtained: Red, White & Blue
Comments: I have not had a chance to work on her yet - so I’m sorry, but yup she is pretty gross!

Thank you in advance.
