It's a genuine Envelope Swing Wallet 4873 and is in my Spring 1996 catalog, so close enough.

Thanks, Hyacinth...does the catalog show an original MSRP...just curious :)

It was $102.

Thanks for the info...pretty nervy of the person selling a "new" one on ebay for $119.99...marked down from $129.99! I like my $9.99 price much better :) Yeah, the deals just keep comin' my way.
This is just my own personal opinion but TBH, I don't see a problem with someone trying to sell something for more than original retail and I (personally) don't think it's nervy.

I like deals as much as the next gal but when I find steals on items that I can't use and are HTF, I list for more than what I paid. And often, HTF items sell for several times what they originally cost. (See this listing as an example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Comic-Book-Key-Fob-Key-Ring-92088-Patent-Leather-w-Box-FREE-PRIORITY-Ship-/361206761510?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item541999c826&nma=true&si=djYlR%252ByZeaOpUFzxSaN6cAFmgtk%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 )

We don't know when the seller bought the bag but if she purchased it new and paid full price, her $119 price might barely allow her to break even after ebay, paypal, etc.

Be honest. If and when you sell it and if the other sells for close to the $100+ she's looking for, would you sell yours for just $25?

Thank you! If it is ok, what is its name?

The creed picture shown in the listing can't be from that bag. You need to ask the seller if she has a picture of the creed. The two tone variety is fairly rare. If authentic, it is a Madison Carlyle. The seller put the correct style number in the title.
Here's a previous listing from the seller for the same bag. In this listing, the title shows the full serial number but the creed is the same picture as the current one:

ETA: This is weird. She sold this one with that serial number but the picture of the creed in the listing isn't the same one as in the current listing. i know lighting and flash can make things look different but the colors don't even look alike!

I agree. There is nothing wrong with pricing an item at whatever a seller wants.

Hi everyone-- what a great read this evening! I'm jealous of the Mulberry bag from a couple of pages ago and intrigued by the 12345 bag. What a good fake! Waiting to see her post the listing and/or seller to see if it's from the Ph Islds. And that comic book key fob-- Yowza!

Here are a couple of finds from this weekend that i would love to have authenticated and correct names would be great too. TIA!

Item: Coach red leather....? F9D-9138
size: 8 1/4" x 5 1/4" x 2
Notes: Adhesive damage on the back :( Upside down ES stamped near creed patch.

Item: Coach Lady Bug Tote M04K-4439
size: 10" x 8"x 3 1/2"
Notes: several on ebay with all different names.

The red one is an authentic Mimosa Zip.

The straw lady bug bag is authentic.

Odd. The creed in the Madison listing is from the briefcase. I wonder how she could make that mistake. That picture wasn't even used for her briefcase listing.

Maybe in the vintage chat thread? Thanks!

I'd recommend posting in this thread. (Hold off for a while to see if there's a better suggestion on where to post):

I received similar info with a bag. The mini catalogue was from 1976. I posted pics in the vintage chat thread. There's strictly no chat in the reference thread.
